Usually I’d condemn any cutting of costs when it concerns the transportation of humans but I have to say that airbus industries seem to be doing a fantastic job of it.
I only found out about the RAF having the A400 a few months ago but after some research about this aircraft type and just how good it is I managed to buttonhole some current RAF loadmasters who’ve said it’s a great piece of kit
If Airbus can cut costs while keeping the same quality and also increase the fuel economy of their jets, I think they have a legitimate shot at knocking off Boeing.
I first saw a guppy as a teenager and now I’m 62 I’d love to see or get a poster of this jet version and I’m truly sorry but I can’t remember the name of this one but I’d also like to get a tour of an airbus production facility
can someone please tell me what the yellow stripes are supposed to be good for. it shows the impact zone of the propeller that is clear. But what are they there for?
Nice plane. As anyone can see the A400M is a modernized copy of the venerable Lockheed C-130, a nearly 70 year old American design. This plane looks like a jumbo C-130 with the most advanced electronics and avionics.
I hope Airbus, with the support of EU governments and their recently growing military budgets, will develop a zero carbon emissions version of the A-400M, perhaps using hydrogen fuel cells. The airlifter also has important humanitarian uses, since it can land a small airports during disaster relief, a growing applications area with the climate emergency. Perhaps this could even lead to a commercial aircraft with large capacity for passengers and cargo. I can imagine a multimodal transit system where there are air trunk lines that bypass major airports, a single ticket will get you door to door and there are drastically reduced terminal wait times.
The engineering of all this is simply incredible

Thank you for this vid. As a huge Beluga fan this was the best "How it is used" video I have ever seen.
So proud malaysian airforce have four a400m.. 💪🔥

Awesome airplane. Keep going.
Magnificent

Not joking, but does the E at the end of the Luftwaffe at 16:11 seem to drop off a bit?
wow,,, are they making orders for Indonesia? yes, what I know is that my country, Indonesia, ordered it together with the Rafale fighter☺

Quand l'Europe est unie et qu'elle travaille en équipe on fait du super boulot mais c'est toujours tellement compliqué 🤔🤯
The RAM (RAT) test extension is amazing..!!

Quite awe-inspiring. Amused to see Windows 98 being used in the software loading at 12:22
Airbus is better than Boeing. Not to mention that Airbus unites different nations in Europe for the development of this aircrafts.

we got the same tablets at boeing but not used as much as airbus.
I really like this airplane
2/41 : "Where the fuck is this part going ...!!!"
EXPENSIVE

👍🌹😍🌹👍
That is a great aircraft.. if it was installed with jet engines that will be better
Will never have the longevity and legacy like the C-130 Hercules.
도입가 비싸고 유지비 비싸고 정비성도 나쁘고 적재량이 큰것도 아니고.
장점이 없음. 한국의 대형수송기 사업에 참여는 하겠지만 선정되기 어렵다 봅니다.
