The latest update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is now available!
We're bringing new and highly requested features such as New Game+, Mission Replay, and Time of Day options. We're also adding new accessibility options, including Audio Descriptions and Screen Reader, both of which are localized in these languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (LATAM/Spain), and Japanese.

New Game+ (NG+) Features
Ultimate Levels: Go beyond the base game level cap in NG+
Note: Ultimate Levels are NOT tied to any difficulty
Symbiote Suit Styles: Unlock new story symbiote suit styles via Ultimate Level progression
Golden Gadget Styles: Upgrade your gadgets with exclusive Golden looks
Suit Tech Fusion: Unlock both perks in a shared Suit Tech slot
PlayStation Trophy Unlock a new trophy for completing the story in NG+
Additional Features
Mission Replay: Replay that mission (and many others) as much as you'd like now
Time of Day: Change the time of day in the post-game via 'Gameplay' settings
Tendril Colors: Swap symbiote tendril color in the post-game via 'Gameplay' settings

I can’t believe insomniac thought that we would like to have gold color for our gadgets and not color designs for the web wings and they couldn’t even add screams color and red color 😂 such a disappointment

I first thought that it was an other upgrade for my gadgets, and i was so exited.

Those colors were there since day one 😅. The new colors are for the black suits and the Anti Venom suit and you need to unlock them trough the ultimate difficulty levels on new game +.

It’s free and this was suppose to come out in 2023 until the leak delayed it.
The big question is what will the DLC be.
They leaked more Carnage, the question is if it is free like GOW R or paid like the previous Spiderman game.

Genuinely curious and mean this not negatively to DreamCastGuy, but the suits in the video with the “new” styles he’s redeeming such as the venom one, and a few others they aren’t new right? I swore I remember unlocking and using those when playing through the game before New game + update? Am i wrong if so please correct me im struggling to remember if im right or wrong. The only new styles are for the black, symbiote, and anti venom suits. Every other suit already had color ways before the update.
Damage control guy, you haven't played enough of this game that you didn't even know you can change colors this is crazy
Anyone else feel like they’re still missing out on some features this update?
- change weather ( including symbiote invasion)
- change parry animation arms
- switch Peter’s dialogue from normal to symbiote dialogue
- switch Peter from grunting to screaming when using Rage mode

You're definitely correct for a majority of those missing features.
The Peter screams are sorta there now in Ng+ but it's really off and on with when the game considers to use them. Also love that the black tendrils bring the whispering voices back.
Switching tendrils is a good start for full customization, if only they allowed us to apply black webs to any suit too. As well as traversal animations. I honestly want miles to use evolved venom for his traversal to show full utilization of his new powers much like Peter does with a symbiote.
I thought the parry changes if you change suit??
@@zzirfamo24 They do not change, only the color of the tendril parry changes. And I swear Miles has an orange venom parry before a certain event too.

Quick question Dreamcast….do you even read any patch notes for the stuff that was added at all? The color variants for the suits were already apart of the game….as much as I know people can make mistakes and I’m not here insulting him or anything….but it just looks bad when you say you play a lot of Spider-Man only for you not to even know about the variants. I mean the game literally shows you how to purchase the variants in the menu near the beginning of the game….

There’s an annoying glitch in open world. Put it on sunset, then swing around the church in the financial district, the sun will glitch around and it messes with the lighting. It’s also in other parts of the financial district
Go to city hall at night and there are red and green likes that I don't think are supposed to be there

I tried to find where the bulbs were to confirm, but it just feels like a forgotten lighting test zone.
Like someone was adjusting the RGB sliders and forgot to change it back to white light.
And yes I saw that sun glitch, when I saw it I was like "what in the doctor strange is this"😂
4:02 Dreamcast is too much of a casual to not realize the great detail.
Originally, people were angry that once you get Anti-venom. Going back to black suits would NOT have black venom webs.
Now they do, which means Insomniac listens to their loud community.

They have not sadly. You can only go into the settings and change the tendrils to black or white.
The way they described it thought it would of matched the entire suit.

I love how they heavily improved the shading and taxturs of the suits and the game as a whole it looks even better than i though ftom from the update,i wish they added a web color customization option

If I was to guess, he most likely ran through it on the friendly neighborhood (easiest) setting. I clocked about 32 hours for the Plat on Normal difficulty
