Parallax looks like such an interesting tool to have. I wish they were in the older versions of lumion, too, still use Lumion 10 for my old PC...
Parallax is super useful! Hopefully they will add an ability to add custom maps in the future
Still D5 render here. But lumion is improving. 👏👏👏
D5 is improving faster though
Flawless and accessible software. Easy to use yet comprehensive. The only drawback is related to photo inserts. There are missing features that in Blender are called "shadow cacher" and in Vray "wrapper". That is, to build a model and project its shadows on the photo used as a background, making the Lumion environment invisible. Do you know if there are any updates on this?

such good new features, but since D5 has all of this for free. Lumion need to work better to be, again, lead rendering program.
No it’s not for free in D5. Please don’t mislead people. If you want a D5 to work correctly then you have to pay a monthly or a yearly PRO subscription. Obviously you don’t know D5 then
@@Architecture_and_visualization Guess you should not be using D5 as i am over years, i know every aspect in d5 to delivery a raytracing image is free. you can make even videos for free, images in 2k,4k free. Please check again the program. take care.
Lumion is great , but way too expensive. Go Twinny or D5

Yeah new render softwares nowadays have higher and higher specs for sure. But their capabilities and speed also increase compared to how it was before

@@bulletpunch9317 What I can say is that I cannot/won't afford the kinda setup that Lumion needs. Funny enough that there is a free render software that is better than Lumion in every aspect 😆😆
Before this, Lumion always felt like some ArchViz monopoly but finally there really is better alternative on the market
I mean Lumion 9 to 10 to 11 really brought nothing new to the table, but now that there is some real competition on the market, and they know it, they try hard to catch up with others. Good luck Lumion hehe.

First, you need to move all objects on that layer to another layer, then double click the trashcan icon to delete it. Hope that helps!

Had to update my laptop's lumion (to match my computer 2023 lumion pro) and I accidentlly stambled upon this new 2024 release. Looking forward to using it!
It's definitely the best release so far! They really improved Ray-Tracing a lot and the quality is so good as you can see in the comparison I did in the video. I'm really excited to see what else is coming to Lumion in the future

Nah better late than never. Trust me I work with all of these companies, I try to have an unbiased about them. D5 is really amazing and has improved a lot, but Lumion has its perks. Say what you want but people just hate softwares when it became too expensive for them. They started hating Twinmotion too when subscriptions came out but now that it's free again maybe they'll stop😂 maybe I'll do a full in depth review of all these softwares in the future
true i was a lumion user. but with the subsriction service instead of buyin for lifetime every year lumion is to expensive. 365 or 1500,- i do tyhink that TM is the future mosly because of the big company epic behind them. TM or D% eventally unreal eninge is the way i think not Quest 3d (what lumion uses)

If you have a subscription then I think you should see it in your account. Otherwise you can contact Lumion support

Unreal Engine to process and render, what D5 developers do just make it more easy and familiar workflow for architecture projects, when you can do it just fine in Unreal engine..
