Oh...I never knew you could play chess before this video...what is your rating ? And how old are you ? Also, could you solve this by yourself ?

I havent played that much, I would think im pretty low elo: 1100-1300. In chess puzzles rating on lichess I was kinda high elo, I think I was around 1800-2000. They give unlimited time tho and I spent a lot of time per puzzle. Im 21 and yes, I could solve it by myself :P

why does the king have to move all the way to the horses, instead of just walking a circle of 3 steps back to original position?

To not allow any knight checks.

If you step on any of the black tiles, the knight on b4 can put you in check -> you have to move your king -> he can move the other knight and he is safe from the checkmate in 60. Because black has a lot more pieces than white, black will just win.

@@PuzzlesAndSolutions Hello sir, What's your lichess account?

@@planetsharks4746 I havent played on my old account for over a year + I kind of forgot the log in. I mostly just watch chess tournaments now.
I made a new account that I will play on if I play chess/do chess puzzles:
      lichess.org/@/PuzzlesAndSolutions
Im pretty much just a noob at chess tho, so you should be able to beat me easily if you have experience :P

The assumption here is that black will move in the perfect way. So why doesn't black move the horse from b4 to d3? This will confront the white horse on e1 and either kill it or force it to move away. This will enable the black king to move down, to get out of reach from the white horses, and thus enable the black horse on d2 to move away and unleash the heavier troops from the lower left to hunt down the white horses while the black king could sneak into the bottom-left corner for protection

oh and I forgot to mention: releasing the bishop and tower will allow black to acquire two additional queens, in addition to the first one it already has. This will equip black with overwhelmingly powerful equipment to eliminate every horse that white has left.

White can instantly follow this up with a checkmate on d5. Here is an image sequence of the moves (0, 1, 2, 3): imgur.com/a/xdeBRqg
Unless you meant something else and I misunderstood .

Unfortunately there is a dual; White can play Ke8 instead of Kd6 on the first move.
