I liked Taylors real man handshake at the end. A lot of wrestlers lose and barely touch the hand. I like when both guys know they put their best foot forward and aren't so emotional they can't properly shake a mans hand that beat them in competition.

Torreblanca left him no choice! He confidently dropped that hammer of a shake, showing he's gracious in defeat.

Cael rubs off on all his athletes this way. They are all respectful, workmanlike.

I like how Taylor frustrates his opponents, especially when they get a two point lead and they make a huge mistake. Taylor pounces on them quickly and never gets frustrated.

Taylor became so dominant lately , hopefully he wins or places in the worlds . I think he is a world caliber wrestler . He beat two or three Olympic players as I remember. Go Taylor

DT wrestled sloppier than usual. It was a good match but I believe Taylor was a better wrestler despite how close it was.

I'm super curious why DT is wearing freeks in this match. Hes an Adidas athlete and has his own shoe with them. Did something change?? Last week at the us open, he wore his Adidas. Freeks are better shoes tho

yea and the Iranian team did not show up in Iowa along with Russia because they did not want to lose to the U.S . Taylor pinned him and nothing can take that away. Get over it . Like to see that match again . Hasan Yazdani is a class A wrestler

mehrdad karimi why would you set yourself up like that? No one is beating Taylor "easily" anymore. Yazdani will get his chance.

John Fennelly so funny yiu dont even have correct information! Iran and Russia didnt come cause trump didnt give them visa...
I bet Taylor cant stand a full 6:00 against Yazdani

Taylor pinned Yazdani...until they meet again and Yazdani wins then you can say something. They both had jumped weight divisions. So that was a fair match. . The Visa was not Trump but the leaders who are afraid to lose to U.S.A Bunch of chickens

It was a good clean match. Taylor won, barely. The Cuban had some really nice defenses that got him out of Taylor's best moves. I appreciate Taylor's offer of a hand, and no triumphant showboating. Good sportsmanship.
I assume the meet was in Cuba. Notice the Cubans aren't chanting for Cuba. They are polite. When matches are in the US, the arrogant "USA, USA" chants are revolting. Sportsmanship is dead in the US. That's why I root for any Third World country against the US. Think about all the advantages US athletes have against their Cuban counterparts: facilities, equipment, air-conditioning, food, coaching and trainers. Money to attend international meets, stay in nice hotels, etc.
    So Viva Cuba!
