People say no way he put his whole soul in this album since it is only 24 minutes, but that is 24 minutes of SUBSTANCE. More than some rappers whole discography...
Too bad he didn’t write it.
@@therealduz-t6762 really how do you know
@@danchiziofficial2159 there’s like 5+ writers in the credits for each track.
@@therealduz-t6762 okay so like alot of rap that doesn't make him bad
@@therealduz-t6762 So you are saying if J. Cole has writers in his credits, that means he doesn't write his songs 💀.
In ''Blame on me'' the first verse is the perspective of his little brother ( Clayborn Harlow ) The 2nd verse is Jack's perspective and the 3rd verse is from his dad's perspective.
Thank u for that bc now it puts into perspective the lines. I couldn’t figure that out for myself
@@chasengreene531 no problem
really thought i was the only one who noticed
The best part about this album are the serious topics he delves into and how well he rapped about them. I don't consider him a lyricist or lyrical miracle type dude but, I like his music a lot.
You gotta listen to gazebo
@@jadienmason6825 I got all his old catalogue stuff before "what's poppin". That's what really got me looking out for his music now. "Loose" is my favorite album of his
He Js like NF fr
everybody pfp?
@@sleveille44 Eastern Parkway and River Road great lyrical songs by Harlow
This shows the real Jack. Passionate as hell. Some people may not like it. Especially if they found him after what’s poppin’. It’s gritty. Soulful. From the heart.

Thanks daddy
This whole album comes off heavy Mos Def vibes with the production and beat selection but mixing that with the realness in his lyrics and message for sure makes this his best album and is a move in the best direction
You said mos def vibes? Lol have you ever heard a MOS def album? Lolol wtf that's a stretch stretch
I would say kinda sound more like Kweli. Like "They Don't Love It" opening verse w/ that soul sample sounds like Kweli on "Just Begun"
Harlow did his thing on this. Also, best production I've heard since JID's album.
Best production easily goes to the Chomp 2.5 ep by Russ. As far as lyricism and bars go, it also goes to that ep. His Album Santiago that he’s releasing this September, will also trample Jack’s lol. I Love Jack. He’s not a lyricist nor is he bar heavy. He just sounds good. Lol
I’m so glad you listened to this and enjoyed it 🔥 I peeped the day it dropped and everyone I know was like “I don’t really listen to him” 😭😭😭 HE DROPPED A BANGER MF LISTEN
W r6 player
@@yemenswat I APPRECIATE YOU 😭❤️
Legit was tellin my buddy that he dropped a good album and he was like "idk i don't like most of jacks shi"
he need to listen to this fr
@@armychicken4743 jack isn’t for everyone but you have to give him his respect after this 😮💨
You broke this album down the best, the concept for the whole album went over most peoples heads.
This album is the album thats is going to solidify jack as an artist this may not be his best but he is showing the potential to be a goat
aight but its his best though
@@brome42 i think he saying in the future cuz a lot of people are saying this is his best album/ magnum opus and he wont ever top it
@@Uub27 oh yeah he can definitely top it if he continues digging into his psyche and past but as of now its certainly his best
It's alright. But potential to be a GOAT? Chill out, bruh.
G.O.A.T.? Nah you reaching. Y’all gotta stop throwing this term around
I grew up with Jack and the kid is going places for sure. Go back and listen to his shit from high school all the way thru this EP. Jack is nice and got sooo many different flows. Louisville we got big shit going on right now. Rappers production videos all that. But Jack leading the way. Love to see my city and state shine
Did u know the people from gang gang gang?
@@BraziRaphLS bruh 😂
Ice cream, wasted youth, dark night. What got me into Jack.
You know why I respect your reaction more than anyone else out there. You actually take time to listen to the lyrics and the music.
You don’t go into all the bs of the person and start making personality comments. All we want to know is, is the music good or not? And you don’t fail to deliver. 💯
Omfggg you don't know how wrong you are watch him react to NF or Dax💀💀💀💀
I prefer a lil crunk hype shit club music but his are short and don’t lose my interest
@@kiddsavage9593 Wdym
@@dj_bosnian99 I'm referring to "you don't go into all bs of the person and start making personality comments" because that's all he does on an NF or Dax reaction he doesn't listen to the song to him NF always "too sad" and dax is always "too cringy" doesn't matter whether the song is good or not.
I really loved it too because I saw another reaction to this album where they thought a lot of this album was fake or theatre because of his previous persona or they had biases or doubts, etc.
my bro, you legit the best reactor ive seen so far. you actually listen to the music and you’re catching everything. props to you man. you got me geeked cause ive been trynna tell people all these things but no one gets it
this was one of my favorite albums of the last few years. not necessarily an aux album to cruise with the boys but just by yourself. it’s so good for deep thinking and maybe a mood lifter with songs like ‘they don’t love it’. Applause to Jack, stays killing it ❤️
I was born and raised in Louisville. I dated a girl who went to school with him. And I like his music. But this album impressed me highly. Respect to the album and Jack
Damn
Great Reaction! I love how real he was with this album. Bars and Facts. Wasn't too long or too short. Reminiscent of his older music which I loved listening to around 2017-2018
this album just makes me even more excited for his next one.
10:00 woooooow the pirlo line is crazy its rare amirecan rapper put soccer bars in there raps but jack .. he knows soccer very well
He's also mentioned Chelsea in the past
@@T3mpdocs yeah i saw that I have very respect him for that
"Blame on Me" caught my feels ... especially that last verse 💔
I been preaching that Jack Harlow can really rap, this album just proves that
Thanks for the upload! Awesome to see a full album review from you.
I wasn’t expecting this. I ain’t hear the album yet neither LETS GO😮💨😮💨
This album is pure fire. The one song that I will consider sort of a miss is still still high quality. I don't actually wantna skip it when the song comes up. That's just quality flow and quality lyricism. This album, was it. This is the album that proves that jack harlow has some high quality lyricism. Sure, there are some peeks of it that you can see in some of his older music, but this is just the diamond starting to show itself.💎💎💎🔥🔥🔥
Edited to add: This whole album is a set of whole ass vibes. In every song he pushes the concept till it breaks. That's the part that's consistent across the album that you're probably noticing.
The Intro is a heavy weight punch of TRUTH a wordsmith flexing his muscles, love his music Outstanding reaction video .
As a Jack fan, man for this to be his 3rd album. This is 🔥 📛 👨🚒 🚒. Didnt see this coming. I knew he had it n him jus wasnt sure when he was gon bless us. Overall great album and reaction Scru.❤
Finally found someone who can understand the album. Looking forward to more reaction bro❤.
I SAID WHEN THIS ALBUM CAME OUT
THIS ALBUM HAVE THE BEST
SOULFUL FEEL SINCE COLE WRLD OFFSZN
CAUSE THIS BWOI RAPPING RAPPIN STRIPPED DOWN THE LAYERS AND EVERYTHING
JUST PURE RAP 🌊
Funny how the little singing part you hate on ‘Is that ight’ is what I like 😂. Every time I hear the melody, it reminds me of his album ‘That’s what they all say’ which is like my favorite from him.
loose the best album imo
Ya that's the part I like to lmao but I can get why someone wouldn't. It's catchy AF to me though
@@kylebanks13 first time I listened, whole day I was singing and humming that part.
“No selfies, just say hi
I'm so healthy and alive..”
@@kylebanks13it is, and it makes sense at the same, singing it instead of rapping it made it more powerful.
I feel like Jack done what he had to to get more ears, now he's doing what he wants. Either way I'm here for it easily the best I heard from Jack
Brilliant analysis! Love your energy! Thx 4 this one!
'He's got 7 rape charges'...'WHATTTT?!!!' 😂😂🤣🤣
BROOO YES!!! Been waiting for someone to mention the Old soulful Ye influence in “they don’t love it”
The word you were looking for was “ cohesive” and I agree this album flows like one unit
He got songs on old albums where he rapping like this too he always had it in him think he just got super mainstream and made songs that was more for those fans than the fans who prefer this type of music from him. This album flawless 🤌🏽
Yoooo those double entendres with No Enhancers went right over my head. Absolute lyrical Genius!
you're so real for this
I like how personal this project seemed... And I was very surprised that he was rap rappin'... Let's go Jack!..
okay yeah i only heard common ground so far and i already love this album 🙏🏼 tysm scru!🤟🏼
This is SOUL. I almost cried on the family song and I don‘t even have siblings!
I’m a huge jack Harlow fan and I love this
Feeling that early 2000 Kanye reference, so true.
Scruuuu thank you for doing this reaction man livin this peice
Lovin* haha
I wasnt expecting this reaction BUT IM ALL FOR IT🔥🔥🔥
Lol I LOVE your reaction to the production on ambitious ! My boy Aaron Goldy jr co produced it 🙌🏻
Blame on me is easily jacks best work ever
One of the best albums of the year already. Jack is different. He knows what rap is. He shows more souls and talks more to u then most of these rappers.
SCRU I gotta say man he got some fire music from earlier, one of my personal favorites is eastern parkway
This was a blessing 🎉
bro i've watched this like 4 times now, and I still can't get over how good the sample and beat are in Denver. Such a great sample, super addictive
Can’t deny his passion for rap. Very aware of himself.
Finally!! Been waiting for this for the whole weekend!!
Blame On Me had me shed a few tears it's so damn real fr, that song and Gang Gang Gang just hit different. It Can't Be he was spitting and shutting all the hater's mouths, it's more about him actually understanding and studying the culture, he's not using hip-hop or black culture as a stepping stone to jus they famous, he actually appreciates it, that's what makes it so deep and why he's calling out the other people who actually do that. Whole album was him rapping about his true story, the real life within and around him, and that's so rare these days. One of the best albums of the current and previous decade for that because it's so rare these days. He showcased the truest form of a hip hop artist. 10/10
Dude you have such a great vibe keep it up brother
Gang Gang Gang - I will help you out with the vibe you thinking of... gives immortal technique vibes
You earned my like niij(Native American for brother)
Scru always keep it real 🔥 great video great album
yo Scru, Big Love from PUERTO RICO 🇵🇷🐐
Love your rxn been watching and listening since the early days in Louisville
Put the blame on me 🔥🔥🔥
When he said remember how dad tested me, so I test you.
Im done 😭
Get this guy off the mic, he killing it.
I would love to hear you react to French the Kid's latest album or at least a few songs off of it.
It's still UK grime but a lot of the songs have nice beats that are a blend of different genres, it sounds great :)
Watched all 37 mins of your reaction. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 excellent content
Love the work man i hope you the best keep up the good work bro.
Man I’ve been waiting for this to drop
1:25 OH HE TALKIN TALKIN OH MY GOD
Love ur reactions
He raps in three peoples prospective in one song❤
17:26 this song is supposed to make you uncomfortable, that’s what it’s about
I liked this album, nothing crazy but nothing garbage and it’s just nice to get his thoughts onto some nice beats
Hi tek style beats. Killin it on that 2000s backpack vibes.
😭🔥this the Jack the game needs
In blame on me the first verse was his little brothers prospective, the second verse was jacks prospective, last verse was his dads perspective. Good ass song
“Everybody know Jack, but they don’t know Jackman.”
OHHHHHHH
Jack is Dramas golden boy that man production will always be top notch
The best part of the album to me is how much he music has grown since his last album.
8:32 this sounds like “All Around the World” JayZ and Beans!!!
first reaction to you, just subbed. you’re a vibe
i actually really love the singing bits on 'is that ight' but i understand where you coming from
Jean killing it as usual. When are you gonna come back to the Dan Bull reactions? Did you ever listen to "One more block"?
I never listen to Jack before or even been in your channel and now I’m a fan of both. Respect 🫡
He put the substance into this one, that was my biggest criticism of the last album, it was missing big time and this was a level up
W reaction as always
I’ve ween WAITING for a reaction channel that actually has something to say.
THANK YOU, is what I mean. Not a diss
Finally!! Was waiting for you to do this 😂
Jack did his thing on this!
"Blame on me" put tears in my eyes..
16:50 it's unstructured and intentional
Great Album!! Still amazing to think that H Mac can freestyle on the drop longer than Jack’s whole CD
ifw jean because of how many sub genres of rap he thoroughly understands. He's a true pundit of the art/sport of hiphop
24:23 not to mention the line about the “nails” right before the coffin line
Jack HAS been going in like that. Listen to his older stuff. Confetti for example
He was making quality mainstream music tho.. he’s proved in his younger days he can bar it up
React to Nines Tony Soprano 2. Double entendres for days!
Absolute banger! Nines best in the Uk!
Not best in the UK but his new album is deffo lit 🔥
The album is great! And nines is definitely up there as one of the best
SCRU YOU NEED TO DO THIS!
that makes sense with it can't be, the old fans know this part of jack back in 2018-2020. But if you came around during his debut instead, its hard to know what he's really about. I think his last album, he got way too influenced by the industry instead of following what he originally was into.
Scru should listen to some of jack old songs cause they used to be some heat 🔥🔥
I fuck with this! Dope Reaction!
@28:47 I disagree with the take about him not firing off before this. The last album I will give you that but on his Debut Album - That's What They All Say and prior to that he been doing his thing.
This album is art
This felt more like a Kendrick Lamar album with those samples and stuff. I love it
I definitely was not gone listen to this lol but I'm hearing this with you this iis a vibe so now I am
When you stopped and rewind the no enhancers scheme I lost my mind
As i white dude i completely agree with your assessment of can’t be, i think he is more popular because hes white but its not like no one would know who he is if he wasnt white. He earned his success for sure. I think it also helps his case that hes more in line with rap we are used to and does a lot of collabs with black artists. Not to say anything negative about NF but i feel like artists like him attract more racist audiences due to the fact they want to feel better about themselves because its a different kind of rap.
Way harder to break through in hip hop when white. Much like the NBA. Think about how many horrible black artists get huge fame for terrible music. Usually the white artists that break through are top tier talented. Anyways before you say it. I’m brown and I don’t see how NF has a racist following. Stop drinking the cool aid. Also, great reaction of the Harlow lyrics. Thank you
