Not being Thai but living here, I knew population, Costa Rica and neighboring countries.
My wife being Thai failed on the semi trick question about number of provinces counting Bangkok, and failed on the flag, but got the rest right.

Just a little more of background on the question: technically CR (along with Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Panama) is located in Central America as South America starts from Colombia all the way down to Chile / Argentina whereas North America goes from Canada, crossing the US to Mexico. But I believe the country you were taught in it might change the distribution on this side of the planet :-)

The formal name as the Thais say is "KRUNG THEP" means : the city of angels. 😁
