I would agree that it is probably too wide it is thin 0.1mm. It has been tested I popped one of my fixed ones recently on a dodgy flexvolt machine it did pop it blackened the inside of the casing but saved the battery it was able to be repaired. I will take your advice however I will keep the strip narrower in future.
Good fix and explanation for fixing
Thank you
Shesss alive doctor 🤩👍
Indeed nearly destroy two expensive batteries today was glad to get them saved
@@doctorlefthandthread know yeah glad you saved them doctor
Great knowledge here. Would you be able to shine any light on a dcs576 that stopped working abruptly? No LED lighting up and no noises at all? Cheers.
Do that test before trying your batteries but if it were me I would open it and try to clean the motor and switch with contact cleaner
Great stuff. Great vid. Thanks
*This is a BIG problem, as circa 10% of my FlexVolt 12aH batteries fail
yeah thats a thin strip for a reason, its acting as fuse. Soldering on a wider bit is like sticking a higher rated fuse in, bad idea

My 9ah only shows one bar, won't charge at all. I've opened it and no bars are popped any ideas ? On what it can be
use fuse wire
Could work
