I can understand why she was known as "Incomparable." Wow, for someone in her 70's, she looks and sounds great!! Actually, she sounds better than most singers decades younger! And, clearly, age hadn't kept her from her piano-playing, either, and with gloves on, no less!!
Does anyone else associate that song “I’ll be seeing you in all those old familiar places ......” Can apply also apply to divorces but a bizarre abomination because that memory still walks around Not DEAD! That’s the problem with growing up believing in marriage is forever!
She and I played the same club in Dallas in the 80’s. I saw most of her show during that run and was charmed every night. She was something.
