Catholic Hospital has usually nons working as nurses but can also hire nurses. Usually they are having far more time and take care to listen to you more often if you wish to.
I had been there twice in the south and it felt better at least for me.

The term "Schwester", sister, for female nurses does go back to members of religious orders / communities for women (both Catholic and Protestant) which worked in health care, exclusively for quite some time. When women who were _not_ members of such a sisterhood were allowed to become nurses, they were called "Wärterin" (something like "attendant", "carer" or even "warden") before "Krankenschwester" became the official term for all. A male nurse is called "Krankenpfleger" (carer for the sick). There also (very few) male midwives btw, officially called "Entbindungspfleger". Probably not in Hohenlohe though :-)

The terminology has evolved on the official side quite a bit.
The current term as of this year would be Pflegefachmann/frau or Pflegfachkraft to keep in gender neutral.
So a patient care specialist, completely kicking the old terminology.
I am only days from graduating that course, btw.
It's a consequence of European harmonization of qualifications and now contains far more theoretical lessons and general qualification than the earlier curriculum. It also unites previously separate qualifications for elderly care and child care into one universal job.
Which is now extremely diverse in how it functions, based on the myriad applications.
You get to work anywhere from maternity ward to end-of-life care, from cardiology to psychiatric care.

The hospital I went to in India also called nurses, sisters and it was a Muslim founded hospital.

Thank you. It could be a combo of new parent exhaustion or the fact that it's almost 30 C in our house and it's too hot to put on make up.

Congratulations and take your time, little ones can make sticking to a routine difficult for their adults. I know that, have had it myself not too long ago.
