Monitors off means, usually there are several screens showing exactly what the camera sees all around the set these were probs off. I was also full on crying, but like, tears of joy and understanding and love and relief and everything else. I also literally lost my breath and had a VERY hard time going to sleep after watching it. @DMack ahahaha okay I definitely understand the "feel like I'm invading an intimate moment" but I guess the way I've always heard Kat and Dom talk about the show, and their characters I would never imagine anyone else but them doing this together. Ya know? Like throughout the course of the show, all the cons, etc, they talk about 1) how they have this really strong relationship and like nonverbal communication and 2) how much the characters mean to them and the audience and how they have to do justice by them. For me it was never a question of if such a scene would be incredible and beautiful and created by these two, but a question of if we would ever see it. Ultimately, I think the scene is absolutely perfect, and I am so thankful Dom and Kat were so open and vulnerable and willing to create it for us.

I choked on my tea during the scene cuz I WAS NOT READY. So had to re-watch it so I could see what was happening. And OMG. Wow, beautifully done. Didn't feel like I was watching porn (though it didn't leave anything to the imagination like at all) more like I was infringing on an intimate moment between two people who missed each other deeply. Kudos to Dom and Kat for going there and for Emily to push the envelope in that way. Hope this paves the way for other shows to take the risk and show love scenes the way they deserve to be shown. Especially same sex love scenes. There's needs to be more of them and they need to be this well thought out. Emily set the bar high af tho lol.
