Damn this gave me chills...
And after reading some of the "Magical Girl Transformation" comments, I see that.
I also notice that what would normally be a complete transformation sequence for one person is actually split between the two. Adam gets Shield, Shoulder, Chest and Back, while Teela Gets the "Blank Slate", Chest, Wrists/Neck and Head. Neither get leg shots though.
Finally @0:33 it almost looks like Adam does a Lion-O pose with his Sword and Shield when the latter is doing his "Thundercats" call with the Sword of Omens...

I rewind this scene 12 times before finishing the ep. It was *SSSOOO* epically intense. It had everything, I couldn't get enouph of it. The music, spinning around, the universal forces (coming from the 3 staffs as one), technology, magic, and love. *ALL* roled into one. Adam and Teela more then transformed. They *ascendantlly* transformed.

Besides there is still despara aka Adora, his sister to deal with. So there has to be another season
@@Phantom19913the reason they only got 5 for this season is because of the viewership drop between part 1 and 2 of Revelation. They have to wait to see if this one gets enough viewers to make a season 3
The only complaints I have about revelation and revolution are that between them there are only 15 episodes but they are 15 well done episodes so it's a minimal complaint.
I love how the producers have realized MOTU is basically a Magical Girl show for boys and so leaned into it.
I prefer Sentai show but whatever.
It's always sort of been that... it's just now we finally have the fabulous mystical animation to go with it.

Man that was awesome seeing Adam and Teela transform at the same time I especially like the new look for them and seeing them kiss right at the end was also awesome as I knew for a long time those 2 had feelings for each other even though they didn't show it especially Adam for being He-Man he was constantly worried for her safety along with everyone else but after seeing them both infused with the Power of Grey skull and the kiss I had only one thought on my mind 'IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME'.

1. Their voice actors have been married since 2019, what an absolutely fabulous choice for these two
2. The Sailor Moon vibes nearly blew me away when I first saw the scene, I've been waiting for this since the bloody 80s!!!! I'm so excited it's crazy! (also I must've rewatched this like at least a dozen times haha)
3. Their hand hold at the end of the transformation - lord and lady vibes
Basically I've never been happier. Couldn't have imagined such a perfect re-animation of this show when I first watched the 1983 version in my childhood. 1000/10

The Prince Adam/He-Man and Princess Adora/She-ra twinship kinship will always be my favourite part of all things MOTUPOP, BUTT, the stunning, bootyful, beautiful Teela and Adam joined transformation ( like an energy wedding ) in this season of motu revolution is the most visually beautiful scene in the entire history of MOTUPOP, and is in the top 3 for emotional beauty. That said, the moto: revolutions episode 3 recreation of the classic He-Man & She-ra: the Secret of the Sword movie scene of Hordak abducting infant Princess Adora from her shared nursery with Prince Adam was chilling.

The sword transformation, the symbol changing to look like the 3d animated version, and the more tech based enhancements of the designs.
Its a shame Season 1's bait-and-switch nonsense turned so many people off, things finally got good in Season 2.
Yes definitely did watch Revelation had mixed feelings and opinions about it, but indeed, Revolution is the step up as large as Eternia itself.

Pretty sure they're talking about how all the promotional material shows HeMan but in the actual show he was sorta a side character after the 1st episode
@@Wyndamn all the promotional materials have He-Man front and center, the show was announced to a video of He-man kicking butt to the song i need a hero, and kevin smith the showrunner argued with anyone who said He-Man wouldn't be the main character and even went as far as to accuse Screenrant of not knowing what they were talking about for saying, " while He-Man would still be present in the story, the story is going to focus on Teela and her journey" which resulted in them deleting it only for him to thank IGN for saying " This is basically the Teela show" followed by them talking about how He-Man was sidelined so the story could focus on Teela. It also didn't help that during his interview with Geeky Jerseys he said that they knew fron the beginning that they wanted the story to focus on someone else besides He-Man so they decided to go with Teela

I watched it back in the 80s. The second part of the first season and the second season were the best things about this universe ever made. The mythology is all there...from toys to movies
I had my doubts with the first half of season 1 but Kevin Smith actually did his homework and supplied a very entertaining product true to the original show.

Will there be a He-Man Next Generation story set in the centuries to follow Prince Adam and his wife and grandchildren? For the matter was He-Man immortal and his wife as well could they also have lived on into the far future where the power of Greyskull granted them immortality amongst the stars and centuries beyond imagination? Guardians Of Greyskull the children of He-Mans children would return to his grandmother's home world Earth and form a good team of heroes in the 31st century a team named The Legion Of Superheroes his name was Joseph Adamson Brand. His secret identity was Cpt Greyskull, or he used Adam Power.
Adam and Lela possibly eventually retired and found a quiet plot of land became farmers and raised their families quietly and only sometimes when needed those famous words. They would ride. Towards the final battle against evil in any universe.
Yes I agree with the comments and Man-At-Arms about the it's "About time thing" . Also I see the comment about the Tri-sorceress as she gained the powers of all three. I do think there is a good reason why this worked though. Teela was being overwhelmed by the new magics from both the Havoc and Ka staffs as they were not ones that her mother passed on to her and thus she could not control them as easily as she was not fully connected to these new powers, yet the Power of Grayskull was linked to the Sorceresses powers, and thus strengthened her enough to accept the new magics. Basically this kind of Balanced out the scales and stabilized Teela.
Yeah she had so much power that only a being possessed of the Power of Grayskull would have the body to withstand that much energy.
I like when Power House go full on anime. They did the same thing in Revelaiton part2 when He-Man takes on Evil-Lyn’s army at the end

this is literally the first and only He-Man clips I've ever seen, and yet it makes me nostalgic and I've re-watched this scene over and over and it took me a while to figure out WHY.
because when I was a kid, I obsessed over Sailor Moon- and this is the legacy of that show, this is the result of the first Magic-Girl Transformation scene with Sailor Moon, being refined through the years through various shows and anime- to become this.
something that makes even people who aren't fans of it, nostalgic.

To be fair, that's the direction always been with He-Man and Teela. Ever since the early minicomics, Filmation episodes, kissing in 80s comics for the first time, then married in modern DC and minicomics, etc. :)
Season 1 (Revelation) kept that same direction. Teela is talking constantly about He-Man, with Evil-Lyn making snide comments how she carries a torch for him..
