I honestly loss count already, so lets just go with week 2 of 'Daily Retro Remixes'! My longest remix yet (not counting Megamixes) This was commissioned by Truth32 for his friend Toeby. They commisisoned me to take an original song made by Toeby and recreate it in the style of Chrono Trigger. I'll admit, this one was a toughie. All the tempo changes threw me off while transcribing, and I've never played Chrono Trigger so I had to figure out what instruments were used a lot and which ones weren't. I'm happy with the final result though! Thank you to Truth32 for the commission and Toeby for the art for this piece. QUQ I'm so happy!!! This sounds absolutely amazing and the editing in this video just highlights how creepy the lady in the picture is (Her name is Malida Rozali, btw. She's a real joy)! I love it. My favourite parts have to be... well ok I love it all but the parts that really stand out to me is the part at 1:57, just because the choices in the instruments make it sound a lot more peaceful? and heroic. Like the calm before the storm. Also the part at 3:21, I LOVE the trumpets there! 3:58 - 4:32 is really intense and does the original justice I'd say, and then the part after that... It just sounds like she's fully accepted her descent into madness. Last part that gets me is those... well they sound like the screams of the damned at 5:38. Perfect choice. I hope I didn't write too much of an essay but... Really. Great work! Love the fiery effect too.
