About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

Yes the snakes are always on our mind when walking we have come across a few but they always seem a lot more scared of us and slither of very quick!
After reading your reply ,I too hate snakes .about one hour later I went out to the outside kitchen (BBQ) move the hotplate and there was a bloody snake ! Did not kill him as I was shit scared

Another great video. Hope you don't have solenoid problems again, but having the bits is nice to know you have a back up plan. (that's one of my negatives having an auto, at least with a manual there are many ways to start if if the starter dies)
An auto would be nice tho some times changing gears can get very annoying especially in the troopy!
@@itsJackandMegan Because I travel remotely (often alone) I like knowing I can always get myself out of trouble. One thing I've not managed to sort is starter problems (bar carrying a complete spare because of having an auto) I've been through 3 in the last 2 years due to one problem or another (1 was my own fault & it was a really expensive high performance one 😢 )

@@lisasteele6895 we do come across a lot of people but some people don’t like to be on camera so we just put the cameras down and have a chat. We have met so many people it’s been a highlight of the trip!

Wonderful day out with you guys! It just left me wondering 💭 what’s in the package 📦🤔⁉️ water crossings can be nerve wracking especially the potential electrical issues. Our baptism of fire was a 7km watercrossing of various depths through Croc 🐊 and hippo 🦛 infested waters onto an island in the Okavango delta in Botswana 🇧🇼 in 2010
It’s a solar blanket and some new spotlights😬 so far they are going really well they’re in the next episode. Wow that is a massive water crossing 😮
