1. Onic players believe that the hero that gave them a headache is Arlot. That's why they banned him in game 2 and didn't change the comp. And they won.
2. In game 3, Onic realized that the Gatot and Terizla combo is formidable and Beatrix's clearing prowess is superb that's why they didn't let it pass. If BTR didn't ban Franco, Onic probably picked it up again. Who knows, right? It worked. It is not broke, so why fix it? 😂

To be completely honest, this real time experimentation is something you should be seeing in scrims, not on a professional league. It was pretty disappointing to see, but who am I to criticize, I know they are just doing it for fun, I myself, enjoyed watching it too.

franco is that one pick which works against top teams IF executed properly and with LUCK

I've seen this kind of strat by Blacklist they're the type of team who never believe in drafts but the execution instead. It works! It really works but not until your opponent figure out how you play lol that's why for me changing the draft is the best strat.

Alice in this patch is really annoying. But Onic is draft really for countering this Alice meta.
That's really disgusting, BTR is not weak ID team. But onic has confidence to have same almost pick in all 3 games(it was Wanwan debut pick in mpl Id and still CW picked her in all games). So much confidence to experiment even tho you are close to do not making to play offs

2nd match they pull the game very hardly bcs btr threw. 3rd match btr lost bcz no gato. Coach yeb draft is still weak against PH coaches.
The draft wasnt even close to similar. They adjusted the opponents heroes and not their's drafts are not just about your picks its also a mind game . By just banning heroes you can limit what your opponent picks. People who complained about them having the same pick dont know anything about drafting . They dont need to change their heroes because they can fight with those picks they just limit their opponents crowd control. If the game 1bwas severely onesided then that will be another case

It’s not ego drafting. It’s just that Onic knew how this lineup works and that they just had some mistakes that can be easily fixed.

this is not an ego draft, this is a counter draft, u see that alice is a hero that has a lot of lifesteal(the more target there is the more lifesteal she’ll be getting). by picking hayabusa and wanwan is their best pick, why? cuz hayabusa and wanwan in non-targetable in their ult making alice more vulnerable that she doesnt get the full potential of her lifesteal in teamfight and she cannot deal any damage to hayabusa and wanwan in their ult form. and they got franco to suppress the alice in a sport that they can burst her down. unfortunately bcuz of the arlot they couldn’t perform it well since arlot has a huge aoe ult that can interrupt onic, thats why they banned arlot in game2.
Alice actually has alot of counters , even non-meta hero win against her , But Alice with Angela can stop most of her counter but mot Hayabusa and Wanwan

Is Wanwan really good in this meta? Feel like she is still quite weak. Or is it just Yeb trying to copy Echo?
Being able to do free damage while being too evasive or invulnerable is a good call for this diving CC supports.
She only works because enemy jungler isn't assassin. Don't pick wanwan against assassin or you're gonna have a hard time, especially against fanny
it's weak in the meta but it enables the jungler to pick up an assassin and buy time for late game wanwan
She works well against non-assassin jungler (which happened to be also in the current meta) such as Bane, Alpha, etc, in short, heroes with little to no mobilities. Also CW is just a good Wanwan player.
