It is a home of over 80 of the most comprehensive collection of Australian manufactured or assembled Aircraft and Engines in the world. The Moorabbin Air Museum was founded in 1962 and is the oldest volunteer-based aviation museum in Australia. They rely entirely on visitors, donations, and memberships to help restore and preserve their aircraft.
Aircrafts on display:
Kiowa, Wessex, Gannet, Meteor, Dauphin, Beaufighter, Firefly, Sea Venom, BA Swallow, Auster, Proctor, Mirage, Sabre, Wirraway, Osprey 2, Tiger Moth, Airtourer, Flying Flea
We provides public access to a number of the aircraft on display, allowing visitors to interact with the aircraft and to experience life as a early Aviator or Military Pilot.
