Before he was the bird of Gotham, (Wak wak wak) he was a desperate man who knew his way around. One who knew how to hide his fear... but still felt it all the same. The thing about Oswald Cobblepot is that he isn't just vicious, he's smart. Scraping by for every pinch will do that.
The absolute BEST thing about Batman is the crazy. Not the chaos, but the psychosis. Everyone is crazy, including the Bat. And every once in a while, the mask slips. And we see the depths of the psychosis. Like the conversation there at the end. Thank you for taking us on the journey with batman instead of just straight jumping to the next conversation with "The Bartender."
I wonder if Batman ever made the connection between the man in the vat and Gotham's favorite clown. Also, I wish writers could write Batman/Bruce more like his BTAS version in terms of characterization. As I know it, that Bruce would want to make sure someone who helped him wouldn't be left out to dry as long as he was willing to go legit.
i think this hard line would work for a batman earth just starting out year 1 to three or one whos just lost jason. we knew he got a little upsetty spergettie after jason
@@fake-king3837 He's trying to keep people from suffering like he did when he lost his parents. Loads of poor people hurt other poor people all the time. If Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos sees some rando getting mugged by a crackhead, should they just shrug and go "welp, the thief is poorer than me, can't do anything."? Also, this is literally a comic about how he disrupts the operations of rich and powerful gangsters in a highly corrupt city. And Oz's priority is his own ego, not his job, or preventing the next 9/11. Bats even offers help.
I saw only one of your videos and subscribed, I just saw this second video and I'm convinced. You have impeccable voice acting skills. This is perfect, this is the voice of Cobblepot.
This was a great dub. You chose a great story to entertain us with, and understood what you were working with. Batman's explanatory narrating, Penguin's loud burst of anger, you captured the tone of the comic spectacularly. I was entertained/invested the whole 5 minutes.
Just because they've done all that crime doesn't mean that there is enough evidence to send them to prison. It's one thing to know they've done something, it's a whole 'nother thing to prove it before a court. It's like what happened to Al Capone. Everyone knew what he did, but they couldn't prove it. That is, until Eliot Ness and his Untouchables stole one of Capone's ledgers and proved he was guilty of tax evasion. That was all the evidence they needed. Same here. Falcone may have been involved in far worse stuff, but if they can lock him up for black market cigs easily enough, better to have him behind bars on a small charge then spend forever trying to lock him up for the biggest charge.
Ahh Younger Batman, casually saying objectivly the worst possible thing you could say to a criminal at the peak of mental distress, causing untold psychological damage, for the crimal and subsequent victims, for decades to come. IE: One of the Smartest men alive with 5 degrees in psychoanalysis cant see how mean words at the wrong time can change a person for the worse. 😂
Hey man. How are you ? There’s a little fun fact for you. My creative dc character hates the French. And it goes way back to when the death of Henry V of England. Him and his successors were supposed to be the next reigning monarchs but the French went back on their word. And ever since then, he been having a grudge on them. He has quoted “ The only good French monarch was Napoleon.” Heck, even when the world is in danger, he still refuses to help the French. He’s that petty.
There’s something so cathartic and satisfying about hearing these censored curse words be actually said out loud.

Batman could've said "I know a couple of guys who can hire you." And then Penguin by some miracle lands a job at Wayne Enterprises.
lol

I would agree re: Bruce, for sure.

Right on the money, I dont care for a heartless batman. Without a heart batman is some elite rich kid taking his issues out on people poorer than him.

@EGRJ you picked two of the most morally compromised rich people I could think of as this example.

Thank you so much! Welcome to the channel!! Plenty more content here for you to peruse. 👍😀

My friend, I’m so glad. Thank you truly. 🙏🙏🙏
3:09 When you get really into the video and it eventually ends.
Stellar voice work as allways!
lol…..appreciate you man 🙏🙏
why does batman care about "cigerates." like really bruce is running around throwing people in jail for black market cigs?
I think it’s more about shutting down Falcone’s operations than the cigs themselves. You know?
It's not the cigs themselves. It's all the other operations they help fund.
It's the blood in the money and not the money itself

You are NOT wrong.
This just keeps getting better and better...
Batman training the Penguin to interrogate? What could possibly go wrong there??
The Penguin becoming a Robin.

This is why I lost interest in comics, the fact batman is written so coldy just disappointsment me. Good video though.
Appreciate it, bro 🤙
