[This song is about accepting the painful reality of life. I have poured on the paper which I have lived and experienced. There definitely is a future hope of re-union for those who are in Christ, but in this present life and earth, those who physically depart will never return. You have to grieve, embrace pain and learn to live without them. But fully accepting the pain leads to genuine healing. Shutting the door in your heart from where grief and lament flows will also shut the door for love and warmth. Ignoring pain and pretension of wellness when you are not well is harmful in the long run. This is why Bible is a book filled with laments. God accepts our groanings. Therefore grieve all you can but also be healed and move on.
This is not a religious song. It is not meant to be used in the church corporate gatherings.]
