I’ve been wearing these products all week long so I have more thoughts on each of them ♡ ~ for the primers, I love the one from nyx! It’s hydrating, glowy, and has not interfered with my sunscreen or any makeup that I apply over the top. The essence one, however, I dislike. It’s not a bad product but I don’t like the scent. It smells terrible! It almost smells like it has gone bad but it was purchased brand new at Ulta. ~ I really do like the elf foundation but I much prefer applying it with a sponge than a brush. It wears well on me all day long (combo skin) and sits nicely over different primers. ~ the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray is so nice! I see why many people love this one. It definitely reduces the look of super powdery skin and helps to melt my makeup together nicely. ~ really like the Kosas concealer. It has very minimal creasing even when I’m not setting it with powder. ~ no issues with any of the blushes or the nyx bronzer. They’re all so lovely. ~ I really like the elf brow gel. It’s very similar to the refy one and holds my brows all day long! Didn’t notice any white flakes with this one either. ~ the Kosas lipliners and CT lipstick are both so nice! Pretty long lasting and all are comfortable on the lips. ~ the tarte powder can definitely be too heavy on the skin if applying too much so less is more with this one!
i loved spending some time with you as you shared what you recently bought! ah i just bought the new essence halo primer !! i used it this morning and wasnt so impressed the first time i tried it so far! i love nyx primers but havent seen this one yet! nyx always takes so long for us to receive new products here in malta to be able to buy! i have seen that elf have a new foundation so enjoyed that you did a first impressions! thats a good idea to tap off the powder first before applying it to the under eye! thank you for that! love the finished look with the eyes and the lip colour!
