The Icicle Creek road is a patchwork of private and public lands, and woe to the camper who gets on the wrong one. I used to throw down just about anywhere there however the times have changed so just be observant about where you do camp in this area. I enjoyed the video!
Just ran across this video. We just scouted out Leavenworth prior to hauling our 5th wheel up there. I loved the boondocking site at the end of the video. Any chance of can explain where it’s at? Thanks.
Hey - i hope its not too late! I believe these are the coordinates (47°49'03.8"N 120°41'47.5"W). You could see from the road a clearing so its not completely remote, but flat and plenty of room to get in there. It was opposite the chiwawa sno-park. Enjoy Leavenworth! Its so beautiful.
That was one of the best TT campgrounds we stayed in. We didn't get any cell service but the clubhouse had really good wifi and was a nice place to hang out. I remember the full hookup sites were really cramped together. We liked the sites under the trees the best as it felt more spacious and more like being in nature. Those sites were only electric and water I believe. Plain Hardware was a great spot to grab a coffee in the mornings - just a few miles from campground. We loved everything about the area! Enjoy!
Enjoyed the video, Charlie seems happiest when partaking of the local beer. Thanks for the insights of TT campgrounds in that area. Safe travels!
Thanks, Mark! Yep you already know Charlie very well ;-)
Looked like a nice weekend. What a score on that boondocking site.
RV Habit yes that spot was awesome!
Great video...thanks for sharing your adventures! 😎
Thanks for watching!

You were out here in Sasquatch country if you were in Leavenworth. Lots of black bears on Blewett Pass and thats pretty close. You guys are awesome.

I’m doing this hike on Sunday and I’m so scared about the wild life. I’m afraid of running into a bear. Now I’m debating if I want to do it now lol.
Heading to Thousand Trails Leavenworth this weekend. Any advise?
