Nice rig. I was looking at a similar one but decided to go with a 1977 Wickes Aquarius that was built in Lethbridge Alberta. The owner did a complete restoration on it so it's like new. Gonna pick it up in a couple weeks and head out for some camping.
It was awesome, had it for 10 years, guy saw it on here and decided he had to have it. He shipped it all the way back to southern ON. Then I found my “new” airstream b190 in the US. Love it (just got home from a weekend camping 20 mins ago). Enjoy.
Thanks for the vid. We are about to buy a motorhome ‘85 Travelaire and hubby was going to be sleeping up too. We may have to come up with a better plan. The one we are looking at has a double bed in the back with some floor space so we will check to see if we can add to a wueen
Hey man, yep, I still enjoy it, my work schedule has only allowed me to go out 4 times this summer but I still have a 4 day w/e ahead of me, a parking lot "camping" trip while attending a wedding and 2 weeks in Sept....love to use the moho :)
Put a alarm system on it.One that makes a lot of noise inside the camper. One that hurts the ears with a strobe light. You can also have a recording that tells the thief they are on camera. But anyway nice motor home. I will be back out there soon. Only way to live for me. peace brother!
@kjf63 AMERICANS: 126 liter propane tank is 33gallons. 400km is 250miles. Doing the math that's 250miles for 33 gallons (propane) = 7.5mpg (propane) $100 fill for 250 miles = 40c per mile. May sound expensive but consider that the 40c per mile ALSO covers your hotel bill for the night! People in an RV tend to travel less than 100 miles per day ($40 per day - Rachel Ray!) because they are stopping to explore the nearby towns - at least I would - so not bad at all. Clean truck!
Lol you said hot water heater, lol its a water heater, lol I loved the video, great camper, great run throw. hold it for as long as you can. :) Thanks for the video. :)
i watch lots of rv videos and never hear much at all about break ins. you state you've had 3 of them! that's crazy. Would love to see a video where you discuss the circumstances of them and discuss what an RVer could do to prevent being a victim.
Put alarm on it with a inside camera that downloads to your phone. Alarm that calls 911. Just like you install in a house. His was probably on the lot he rents. There are plenty of people around so they know when he is not there
Hey, I used to live in Mtl and I'm from NB so I know all about cold ;) Although its insulated it does not have a winter "package" like some of the new units. The southern part of BC rarely goes below 0, also there are a couple of Prov Parks near by with electricity that are open year round, so that makes winter camping more comfortable. Having said that the latest in the yr that I've used it is the end of Oct. Next outing is Thanks Giving :)
I enjoyed watching your video...sorry about your Mothers quilt being stolen..that sucks! You've had 3 break-in's? No alarm>> well thanks so much for sharing!
Well, JC might be good but we have an insurance corporation here in BC...we have no choice our insurance is a crown corporation :) Thanks for watching.
@MrPavePaws Yes, runs on both gas and propane. I'm not sure how big the propane tank is, costs about $100 to fill it and I get almost 400 km of highway driving out of it.
The Camping Trucker Its a great floor plan, I always say if I could have the EXACT same one in a new model then I'd buy it...but, I think the newer models are not nearly as well built.
I don’t really have a recommendation. Found this by shopping shopping shopping! I looked at more than 2 dozen units. Had it for 10 years sold it almost 2 years ago. Now have a class b.
Runs on propane? Very cool! MPG on propane versus MPG on gas? Whats the water tank holding capacity of each of the 3 tanks? How long does the propane last you?
REVEREND DAVID HAMM Hey man, glad you like; yeah, I've got tons of vids on my page here on youtube (search kjf63). Had to moho out today - its been 7 years - starting to think that I might "sell'her" :)
Love your rig! I am partial to the Chevy's. What part of BC are you from and may I ask what she originally cost you? Manning Park is lovely even in the rain. I like the kitchen in the rear, nice. Tis a bummer that you had a break in back then, truly sorry about the quilt. You can't replace "love" like that.
Howdy, I live right in downtown Vancouver, the ole moho is parked in a rented stall directly across the alley from my condo...pretty lucky find that so close to home for sure. I originally paid $8500. Due to other life-things going on I've only used it twice this summer...three times if you include the two trips to Burnaby to pick up my new hardwood flooring :) My second outing was this w/e past...I always enjoy it. Just installed a "new" water heater. I hope to use it at least once or twice in August and then maybe a two week road trip in Sept. Thanks for looking :)
Subscribed now, hope you are going to post more of her on Y.T. Great deal. There is a 79' Chev 21' 350 auto, but no mention of miles. Looks great and all original interior, kinda yucky, lol but still, they are asking $2000.00 This is what makes me wonder about the engine, miles and what has been done to it if anything. Just saw it tonight on Used Victoria. Wow with the prices of downtown Van, you are lucky to have the moho just in case :) Have you heard of VanCityVanLife? Chrome Valdez lives in a ford van and is a DJ and is in Vancouver. I am following all kinds of these people to see just what they do to their vans and stuff. Very interesting. I have a Chevy Astro passenger van at the moment that I would like to semi-camperize. I am scratching my head about this old Chevy tho' for $2000.00 would be worth a look. Thanks for getting back to me, yours is in such great shape, you should be proud of what you have done and how well you have kept it. This vid in Manning Park really is lovely and the unit looks great in that spot! Talk again. I do hope you get to use it more often. The perfect weekend warrior machine. :)
2k is too cheap, you'll get a lemon. Km's count but its not everything, maint. to both chasis and "house" are more important. I think I would choose a tent over something that cost 2k...unless, you're super handy :)
Yes it's cheap, but it "could" be a dream. I know what you mean tho', and I am kinda handy, but not for a complete redo, my body won't allow me to do the things I used to do. I will remember maintenance on house and chasis of course. Without a good undercarriage you don't have much. I would be leery of an engine with large Km's especially if they haven't done anything to it, but 350's are usually pretty tough. I do like the older vehicles, not so much electrical like power this and power that. thanks for the chat.
Makes me sad that someone would steal a quilt.. I hope the person that stole it falls off a cliff..I truly HATE a thief!! Great video and what-not..lol
Its been a few years now since the theft but oddly enough I was just talking about that quilt the other day. I hate a thief and a vandal as well. Compensation will be group camping for xmas...should be fun :)
The reason.i chose the mini.wini is I wanted a motorhome that's not a big huge monster that gets 12 Mpg the mini wini has a 350 and if its driven properly there reasonable on fuel when tuned up And maintained properly I hate a huge pig of a moter home that gets horrible fuel mileage and it need a 100 ft drive way to park it not for me it costs money to show off not for me the mini wini ain't huge but very practicable
Hey, great video, I have a 1988 and I need a front hitch, no one sells one. Can you possibly tell me if it’s a custom hitch or maybe even send me a couple pictures? Thank you very much
Hey man, not sure it is custom or not, it was installed by the previous own. Sure I can take some pics....might be a few days though, the weather currently sucks and I'm on a busy work week...could take some on the w/e. How can I send them to you?
I'm not even sure - don't know the size of the tanks, it costs about $150 to fill at about $1.25 per ltr. It also runs on propane which is $0.79 per ltr and that is about a 100 lbs tank!
In side no.leaks not small Not huge just right your hauling a motorhome that's heavy if I'm getting.20 on the highway I'm happy.my fried bought a huge motorhome its useless 200 dollars to Wheatley dinot even make it home
kjf63 Awww, Boo. Can't see the logic why a thief would steal a quilt, it would have little saleable value (Compared to Sentimental Value for yourself), that sucks bro. In the UK you can get Deadlocks for Motorhomes made by Milenco, would recommend a similar brand in the US to protect against that. :(
+Cornelieus Fields, hey, no, there is no generator. The previous owner had one mounted in a box on the back but he kept it when he sold it...so, it is however completely wired for a generator.
Nice "brother".I plan on getting myself another one this fall. A 22 foot Chevy Freeport and go to the dog pound and free a friend to travel with. Good living in a RV. You are free. Peace. and thanks.
Hey, thanks glad you like the vids...I have lots of clips and recordings but just need the motivation to turn them into something. I'm still using and loving the moho :)
how do you charge your battery when not in use? I noticed my RV's light going low after using it for 4 days :( I dont have battery monitor like yours, mine is 88 Elite
Widow Son Hey man, I don't have that problem, sounds like your battery(s) might be old and need replacing if they aren't holding a charge or is there something going 24/7 in the RV that is using the juice...or maybe there could be an issue with the battery connections or the monitor itself! I don't trust my panel, I have a battery meter which cost about $20. Keeping your battery(s) charged when you're at home is easy if you live in a house, just keep the RV plugged in or keep a trickle charge on them. I'm assuming that, like me, you don't have a situation where it is easy to keep the RV plugged in. If you have easy battery access you could remove the battery between trips and keep them on a battery charger at home (I keep mine on my balcony all winter), you could also consider a solar solution although I'm doubtful that you could get a decent, useful solar set up without spending a fortune. So there you go, thats all that comes to mind. Good luck :)
Nice rig. I was looking at a similar one but decided to go with a 1977 Wickes Aquarius that was built in Lethbridge Alberta. The owner did a complete restoration on it so it's like new. Gonna pick it up in a couple weeks and head out for some camping.

Very nice rv , I also have a Chevy 1993 frontier g30 also nice place thank you for the video.
Nice motorhome... good video. The river looks Awsome!
very nice motorhome, I would have one like yours some happy day! congratulations! enjoy it!
Hey man, yep, I still enjoy it, my work schedule has only allowed me to go out 4 times this summer but I still have a 4 day w/e ahead of me, a parking lot "camping" trip while attending a wedding and 2 weeks in Sept....love to use the moho :)
Very nice RV. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks glad you enjoyed it :)

wonderful one ! Much more space than in my Sportsman 1977. Really like the way the ''kitchen'' is placed.
Argh.. break ins...thanks for sharing. Happy travels :)
Nice Chevy caravan 1985 👍🏼👌🏼
Thank you , it was really nice .
I put a bar sink faucet in my bathroom. Made a huge difference

Nice layout
It was, very liveable and functional.
Lol you said hot water heater, lol its a water heater, lol I loved the video, great camper, great run throw. hold it for as long as you can. :) Thanks for the video. :)
LOL, yep, you're right, sorta stating the obvious! Never thought of that before. Thanks for watching :)

Nice and cozy
Hey man, glad you like the vid. My advice though would be not to use a pressure washer on an rv...lots of delicate seams etc. Cheers
nice and Cozy
Your home is very nice! Sorry about the break-in's. *idiots!. Enjoy!
I'm thinking on.buying a chevy mini wini moterhomrare they any good and does my motorhome need 2 inspections
So vintage, I love it.
ha ha, yep, very vintage. First trip out for the season will be this w/e. Should be fun :)
not to many comments lately ..I have a 1984 mini winy very simpler I am restoring thanks
I’ve sold the van and replaced it with a nice 96 airstream class B. Haven’t made a vid of that yet 😁
That should say I sold the motorhome
Beautiful, love it
Sounds like fun, good luck and have fun.
Well, JC might be good but we have an insurance corporation here in BC...we have no choice our insurance is a crown corporation :)
Thanks for watching.
@MrPavePaws Yes, runs on both gas and propane. I'm not sure how big the propane tank is, costs about $100 to fill it and I get almost 400 km of highway driving out of it.
Hope it worked out well for you.
What struck me was you mentioned your quilt was stolen. Really sad. I also have a quilt made by my mom..and treasure it.
+Charles Michael Yes, still really pisses me off about the quilt...that sort of thing can't be replaced. Thanks for watching though.
Thanks for the detailed video.
Nice rig!
Thank you...its sorta languishing right now; hasn't been "out" since early October :)
It looks in good shape, I like the floor plan and its on a Chevrolet chasse.
The Camping Trucker Its a great floor plan, I always say if I could have the EXACT same one in a new model then I'd buy it...but, I think the newer models are not nearly as well built.
Recommendations on sites to find affordable RVs like this one?
I don’t really have a recommendation. Found this by shopping shopping shopping! I looked at more than 2 dozen units. Had it for 10 years sold it almost 2 years ago. Now have a class b.

I would like to hear I would like to know about my 1985 generator for my how to turn on my generator for my 1985 Chevy RV
@@edwardalexander5531 hi, I do t know anything about generators. This RV didn’t have one
Makes me sad that someone would steal a quilt.. I hope the person that stole it falls off a cliff..I truly HATE a thief!! Great video and what-not..lol

I have a similar unit but can't find any like it. 1988 Chevy G30 Sprint. ( not Sprinter )
I'm interested sir. But how much is it
When this video was made, this RV was not for sale, I had it for 12 years, and sold it three years ago.

kjf63 no problem, I really appreciate it, my email is justinwalker7148@gmail.com
Ok, I've set a reminder in my ph :)
Cool
WERE U GET THE FRONT HITCH?
It was on when I bought it. I recently put one on my new van, got it at a regular hitch shop.
nice moho !!! yew!
whats your gas mileage avg ? Im looking at getting one of these also. is this a 21ft or 24ft +kjf63

@rxloneeeeee Hey, glad you "like", I like too ;)
im getting a 1982 winnabago and im going to put 6 batteries in it and cb radio and scanner going ot use it for floods and storm chasing
iwant one now thx
Let get a 2017 version now...
I'll bet a 2017 version wouldn't be nearly as well built or as reliable as this has been.
What are you asking for it????
Hi, that video was made just for fun. I sold it years later for $5,500.
You have a generator built in
+Cornelieus Fields, hey, no, there is no generator. The previous owner had one mounted in a box on the back but he kept it when he sold it...so, it is however completely wired for a generator.

MrDazydaz send me your email so that we can discuss.
