In shared or vps upgrade options available from provider you need tell your provider you need higher or when your website reached limited resources then provider suspend account or tell you to upgrade to higer plan. You donot need from your end to upgrade in shared or vps hosting company owner done this for you.

I want to know more about difference of Windows base and Linux base Server?
As you explain a bit here, you want to say, we need to take server base on which backend languages we are using. Like, if we used .net then we need to go for windows base while if used .php Linux base will be good and windows base are costly a bit than Linux. So can you elaborate some point like when windows base good or when linux base. How we can decide which we need to go for. Or if we go for Linux base it also do all the jobs which we need?
For .net windows hosting and for php or other languages linux hosting is good. You also php website windows but your website is very large then linux is good option.
