Dc: US Double Crochet, UK Trebble
Dc-Inc: US Double Crochet Increase (two double crochets into one stitch), UK Trebble Crochet Increase (two trebble crochets into one stitch)
Sc: US Single Crochet, UK Double Crochet
    Ch: Chain
    Sl St: Slip stitch
St / Sts: Stitch / Stitches
Color A: In the video it's a green-grey, use whatever color you want
Color B: In the video it's white, use whatever color you want
    For The Bag:
Working in joined rounds with Color A,
    0:55 - Round 1: 12 Dc into Magic Ring (12)
2:39 - Round 2: Dc Inc into each stitch (24)
    3:50 - Round 3: *1 Dc, Dc-Inc* around (36)
    5:10 - Round 4: *Dc-Inc, 2 Dc* around (48)
    6:35 - Round 5: *3 Dc, Dc-Inc* around (60)
    8:10 - Round 6: *Dc-Inc, 4 Dc* around (72)
    9:45 - Round 7: *5 Dc, Dc-Inc* around (84)
    11:25 - Round 8: *Dc-Inc, 6 Dc* around (96)
    13:15 - Round 9 thru 12 (4 rounds): Dc around (96)
Fasten off your yarn, and switch to Color B.
15:05 - Round 13: *(2 Dc, Ch1, 2 Dc) into one st, skip three sts* around (Note- when done with this round, Sl St into the Ch1 of the first set of sts done)
17:40 - Round 14 thru 24 (11 rounds): *(2 Dc, Ch1, 2 Dc) into Ch1 spaces of previous round* around (Note- you will not be working into any actual stitches in these rounds, only the chain spaces.)
19:30 - Round 25: *6 Dc into Ch1 space of round 24, 1 Sc in the area BETWEEN the (2 Dc, Ch1, 2 Dc) and the next* around (Use the video here if you need to- I'm not the best at writing crochet patterns. However, if you're familiar with the Shell Stitch, this round is essentially just making pretty standard shells around.)
    For The Sinch:
    Using Color A,
    22:00 - Chain up 90cm (roughly 35.5 inches)
22:50 - Sl St down the whole chain (In the video, they're seen doing it in the side of the chain stitch. I, personally, use the back hump of the chain stitch as I like the more uniform look it gives, but do whatever you prefer.)
Fasten off, and weave in your ends. (I use a tapestry needle to just shove the ends into the middle of the chain and slip stitch combo lol)
When adding this sinch to the bag, weave it into the spaces under the 1 Sc of Round 25 (Again, not the best at writing crochet patterns so use the video if you need to here. I do not blame you at all lol)
I hope this helped at all, especially if you prefer reading patterns to watching a video. Have a great rest of your day / night, and don't forget to eat and drink water! Happy crocheting!

If you're following this and your circle is turning into ruffles, it is most likely because the written directions are not stated in the common way that most of us understand. For example, for row 3, "2ch, (1dc, 2dc into each stitch)" does NOT mean chain 2, (2 double crochets into each stitch). It means chain 2, (1 double crochet in the same stitch with the chain, double crochet into each stitch/one-double crochet into each stitch). I hope no one has to unravel 11 rows like I did before realizing this 😫

    • @augustcraftcrochet

I may not explain the method clearly or may not make it easy for you to understand. But of course I want to share. Making this bag. Because I don't speak English as my first language. I hope you will see my method instead of the description. Thank you for your comment. I will improve in future clips.👍

    I did it like...
    Rnd 1: ch2, dc x12. (12 stitch omitting chain)
    Rnd 2: ch2, 2dc per stitch x12. (24 stitch)
    Rnd 3: ch2, (dc, 2dc) x12 (3 stitch repeat, 36 stitch)
    Rnd 4: ch2, (2dc, dc in next 2 stitch) x 12 (4 stitch repeat, 48 stitch total)
Rnd 5: ch2, (dc in next 3 stitches, 2dc in same stitch) x 12 (5 stitch repeat, 60 stitches total)
    Rnd 6: ch2, (dc in next 4 stitch, 2dc in same stitch) x13. (6 stitch repeat, 72stitches)
Rnd 7: ch2, (dc in next 5 stitch, 2dc in same stitch) x 12. (7 stitch repeat, 84 stitches total)
Rnd 8: ch2, (dc in next 6 stitch, 2dc in next stitch) x12. (8 stitch repeat, 96 stitches total.)

    • @ForeverPaintedBlack

@stitcheslostin6467 Oh, Now I dont remember how I did it.
I think I was skipping my turning chains at first.
And then I realized that I was missing a stitch because I was slipping into the first dc and not doing the next first stitch in that first dc.
So I started using a chainless double crochet (I learned this from another yt tutorial called 'crochet beautiful boho poncho, 4 squares, jacobs ladder, all sizes, part one.' By Crochet with SylviaHappyHobby. At the 2 min mark, row 2, she explains how to do a chainless double crochet.
I switched to a chainless double crochet around row 2 or 3. That way, I wasnt getting confused on where I needed to slip into and I knew that I had to also start from the stitch I slipped into.
I think a shorter way would actually be to slip into your turning chains, and then start your first dc for the next row right overtop the first dc from the previous row.
I was getting confused in the same way too. I hope I helped.

    Hi.
1- The strap stitch is not clear and you didn’t mention the details of doing it ( the strap)
2- Your work is different than the written instructions. For example you write (2dc into each stitch, 4 dc) but in the video it’s showing that you are doing one dc in each stitch. It wasn’t clear for me. I hope you can explain a bit because I like the pattern. Thank you

  • @vivpaivods

for round 13 at 15:39 if you were confused like me, initially I misinterpreted “into each stitch” as one stitch with 1dc, the next stitch with 1ch and then the next stitch with 2dc in the same stitch… it was actually doing it all in the same stitch so you’re essentially going in the same stitch 4 times. At 15:51 it is DC, DC, 1 chain, DC and DC and this is all in the same stitch (you’re going in 4 times). You repeat that process all the way around!

@@JoanneDoMusic So after you've finished row 13, slip stitch into the gap between the 4 double crochet, then chain three, 1dc in the space, ch1, 2dc. It's the same as row 13 with the 2dc, ch1, 2dc but you need to crochet in that gap that make it looks like a V. I can post a quick video on my channel if u need visuals!!
