I always saw aldwych as a long and hard level.. now, faster :) Lud's gate next ? :o I don't really like london levels, they are not boring but there is a lot of backtracking. :o Good job for this run and good luck :)
The most annoying with TR 3 is the level design. 1st and 2th TR were good and are interesting to play, but this TR is the whole puzzle game. The riddles are not that interesting and the levels are not that interesting to play, like it was Venice in TR2 and the levels when Lara wears diving suit. The London is interesting at first, but then it becomes a bunch of puzzles that not that easy to solve and where you spend most of your time by solving these puzzles...
You have no idea how glad I was that the ticket gate was open. I have no idea how flipmaps work and I didn't realise that was what you were doing. I was following along and saw the gate was open in your video and panicked that I didnt do the same thing exactly right hahah
8:09 why are the gates open if you didn't use the ticket? 8:35 was it necessary to go through that door just to go down the tracks and end up at the same door only from the other side? You could just jump down that hole and ride. Am I wrong?
Aldwych is a fairly complicated level in that there are a lot of flipmaps - these change the level so that the gates are open for example. In TR3 there is only one of these for all the possible room changes that need to happen, so by taking a long winded route and hitting triggers in an unexpected order you can open the gates. The bit at 8:35 looks a bit odd but if I didn't do it, there would be an invisible wall at the crawlspace at 9:45. This is because of the flipmaps - I triggered them in a way that let me through the gates, but I then have to fix the level by doing that detour which passes over a trigger that puts the level back in an expected state. By opening the door I have a route to get to the now fixed exit. Hope this makes it clearer.
I mean, RX tech Mines, Area 51 and Lud's gate are already harder than Aldwych. The problem with Aldwych is the lack of indication of where you should go and what you should do, but once you pass this level, it's really easy to beat it again.
Flipmap triggers. Google it for a better explanation but stepping on (or not stepping on) certain tiles causes other parts of the map to change, for example getting the drill back to the top of the shaft. It's possible to softlock the game in this level simply by not stepping on certain tiles.
What a jaw-dropping run. I especially enjoyed the hard jump over the water pit and solving the door maze so fast. Great job!

This level took me 1 hour 31 minutes to complete... It's a bugger going back to get the final secret but totally worth it for what you get

for me this level is the most harcore of tomb raider serie
MONSIEUR COCO Cairo levels and VCI levels are far more difficult.
i hate caire level :( it's a very a boring part then VCI are you sure ? :O it's was easy for me. arctica levels are more difficult

If you jump back through the gap near the drill room triggers go off in the wrong order so the door is open.
Most bad tomb raider level ever!!!! Took me 2h, boooring🤯
