Me and my girlfriend are looking to stay at this place september 25. Looks like there is plenty to do around the area and hotel looks nice too. We arent lively club people and a few restaurants, quieter bars and some shops suit us nicely.
Yes, you actually have cockroaches more or less in every hotel on Gran Canaria, even if you don't usually see them. The pest controllers are also regular guests, otherwise the cockroaches would have the upper hand. I always try to book a room on an upper floor, but of course you can't avoid them completely.

There is lifts around the hotel but it looks like it was built on the side of it a large hill, it was certainly was one of the best ones

The hotel is really lush. If you want the quiet part stay on the beachfront
