let me explain to u the member number problem that u are facing with it not being the same in all mv *so when exo started out they got 12 members you can see it in old video and then those 12 member got separate too two unit exo ~k which stands for exo korean then the other unit is exo -m which stands for exo mandarin(Chinese ) but then our frist member luhan (our Chinese member)got in lot of trouble with sm it is long story but the main reason is that sm entertainment doesn't treat the Chinese members and the korean members equality....and then second member kris lu left too he is also the Chinese member and one of his reason is also not treated equally with the korean members and then the 3rd member left tao (again he is a Chinese member ) and he left for the same reason equality... and all 3 of them used sm entertainmentfor this treatment but it is still going on for all those Chinese artists under sm entertainment (😭).....at this point the members got cut to 9 members !!!! *currently they are 9 members and no unit with the problem * and currently 3 or 2 members are not active cause of some personal problems...like family and one of them got a baby *I'm not exo-l ...the name of there fans are exo-l ..like for bts its army and for black pink its blink *so back to point I'm not exo-l but I know some stuff since I was so into them once up on a time... hope it helped u.....that's all it matter

Quick history: "EXO'S NUMBER OF MEMBERS" EXO is originally 12 members divided into 2 sub groups EXO-K (promotes in Korean) and EXO-M (promotes in Mandarin) but they can also promote together. 2 chinese members left in 2014, another chinese member in 2015, and since then the sub-groups promotion thing was stopped and they promote both in Korean and Mandarin with the remaining 9 members. However since 2017, Lay (the only Chinese member that was left in EXO) cannot promote with EXO and I think it's because of the Kpop in China issue thing, so he promotes as a solo artist in China but then was featured again on Tempo MV in 2018 but still cannot promote with them. Don't worry because Lay is still a member of EXO even he cannot promote with them. On 2019, two of the members enlisted in the military (Korean mandatory thing) so they are only 6 of them remaining by the end of 2019. This year another 1 member is about to enlist tomorrow so they'll be focusing more on the solos and sub-unit EXO-SC promotions. All this happned but yes, I am still an EXO-L ❤

It's so funny that everytime you say, "this is the guy that i liked in the last video" its always a different guy hahahaha The first one that you liked is kai. He's a vocalist/rapper. Earlier days he would rap more but since exo developed into a more vocal focused group, even rappers sing in songs. We really cant box out the members into dance or vocal or rap because exo members do all those. In rapping tho, its mostly chanyeol and sehun but in some cases other members rap too. I know someone probably explained it already in the comments but originally exo are 12. 6 members form exok and 6 members form exom. Exok sings in korean and exom sings in mandarin. They sing the same songs and sometimes promote separately sometimes together. In 2014, 2 members of exo m left the group. And in 2015 1 member of exom again left thw group. It is a fight against mistreatment of the company and not with the members. Exok and exom then combined into just exo. In 2017 political issues with china started and the 1 last chinese member of exo cant participate in the comeback that time. Thats why there are 8 members in kokobop and loveshot. In 2019 2 members of the group enlisted for the mandatory military service of korean men. So in the recent comeback in nov 2019, there are only 6 members. Lay the chinese member still cant participate in the group activities to this date. In the following years. All of them would serve in the military, so we are expecting more solos (there are 4 soloist in exo: lay chen baekhyun suho), baekhyun will have a comeback this may. EXO are known as Vocal Kings.. they all can Sing and the main vocalists are some of the best in the industry. you should watch their live performances which are way better than the MVs. their discography is topnotch. most of their bside songs are RnBs but they have songs of diff genre.

It’s just his perspective and since he just started listening to kpop, I’m sure he doesn’t know abt all the fanwars and all the sensitive things. If he liked any of the two groups, it’s his choice. They started in 2011 before Bts with 12 members, then 2 members left and it went to 10, one more left and now they are 9 but one member is stuck in China, so as of today its 8 members, but 2 are in the military and its 6 for now.

let me explain to u the member number problem that u are facing with it not being the same in all mv
*so when exo started out they got 12 members you can see it in old video and then those 12 member got separate too two unit exo ~k which stands for exo korean then the other unit is exo -m which stands for exo mandarin(Chinese )
but then our frist member luhan (our Chinese member)got in lot of trouble with sm it is long story but the main reason is that sm entertainment doesn't treat the Chinese members and the korean members equality....and then second member kris lu left too he is also the Chinese member and one of his reason is also not treated equally with the korean members and then the 3rd member left tao (again he is a Chinese member ) and he left for the same reason equality... and all 3 of them used sm entertainmentfor this treatment but it is still going on for all those Chinese artists under sm entertainment (😭).....at this point the members got cut to 9 members !!!!

EXO is originally 12 members divided into 2 sub groups EXO-K (promotes in Korean) and EXO-M (promotes in Mandarin) but they can also promote together. 2 chinese members left in 2014, another chinese member in 2015, and since then the sub-groups promotion thing was stopped and they promote both in Korean and Mandarin with the remaining 9 members. However since 2017, Lay (the only Chinese member that was left in EXO) cannot promote with EXO and I think it's because of the Kpop in China issue thing, so he promotes as a solo artist in China but then was featured again on Tempo MV in 2018 but still cannot promote with them. Don't worry because Lay is still a member of EXO even he cannot promote with them. On 2019, two of the members enlisted in the military (Korean mandatory thing) so they are only 6 of them remaining by the end of 2019. This year another 1 member is about to enlist tomorrow so they'll be focusing more on the solos and sub-unit EXO-SC promotions. All this happned but yes, I am still an EXO-L ❤

The first one that you liked is kai. He's a vocalist/rapper. Earlier days he would rap more but since exo developed into a more vocal focused group, even rappers sing in songs. We really cant box out the members into dance or vocal or rap because exo members do all those. In rapping tho, its mostly chanyeol and sehun but in some cases other members rap too.
I know someone probably explained it already in the comments but originally exo are 12. 6 members form exok and 6 members form exom. Exok sings in korean and exom sings in mandarin. They sing the same songs and sometimes promote separately sometimes together. In 2014, 2 members of exo m left the group. And in 2015 1 member of exom again left thw group. It is a fight against mistreatment of the company and not with the members. Exok and exom then combined into just exo.
In 2017 political issues with china started and the 1 last chinese member of exo cant participate in the comeback that time. Thats why there are 8 members in kokobop and loveshot. In 2019 2 members of the group enlisted for the mandatory military service of korean men. So in the recent comeback in nov 2019, there are only 6 members. Lay the chinese member still cant participate in the group activities to this date. In the following years. All of them would serve in the military, so we are expecting more solos (there are 4 soloist in exo: lay chen baekhyun suho), baekhyun will have a comeback this may. And units: there are 2 exo units: exo-cbx (chen baekhyun xiumin) and exo-sc (sehun chanyeol)

They all sing, and sing well. There are power vocalists, and main dancers and rappers. But each member sings, and they all dance. They are nothing like Bts, they are a vocal group, the best in the industry. Bts is rap. Exo is singing, harmonies and ballads. They are r& b, funk, dance/pop, club, techno, house and old school groove. They started in 2011 before Bts with 12 members, then 2 members left and it went to 10, one more left and now they are 9 but one member is stuck in China, so as of today its 8 members, but 2 are in the military and its 6 for now.

They are all singer, all dancers, all can rap and almost all of them can act. That's how talented they are.
I know that this is not his recent video, but people need to stop being so critical to someone that is new to K-pop. We were all as clueless as he was when we got into a certain group. Stop trying to *cancel people* out already. This is why we can never have anything good and why people think so poorly of us. Let's just be happy that he is getting to know them, like we all took baby steps when we did the same thing.
