    Nice looking gig bag. Plenty of padding…. And really love that neck support 👍

      Thanks so much Brett, yeah that neck support is absolutely fantastic, incredibly stable, and fits every neck even the humongous kotzen neck! Deffinitley feels nice and secure when it's on my back and I'm on my travels 🤘😎

    Will a Gibson ES 335 fit in this ?

    • @AndyDoveGuitar
      @AndyDoveGuitar  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not entirely sure, let me check tho, I have a 345 I can try with it, I imagine it may not quite be wide enough, but I'll get back to you tonight on this, thanks for watching!

      Hey again, sadly my Gibson ES-345 doesn't fit in, it looks like it would fit but the zip doesn't pull down low enough to get the widest part of the body in sadly. It literally fits every other guitar I own, hope that helps you out!

    Hi there i recently got this gig bag but im having trouble into fitting my guitar in it, it's a Fender strat with nitro finish, it sticks and i have to force the guitar to enter, the problem with this is my guitar got scratched with the lower zipper when gettin in, and got scratched back opened it, im really sad about thi cause i paid like 180usd lmao

    Have you understood the point of that extra bit for the storage? Like, why is that extra piece you have to close with the buckle there at all? Wouldn’t the zipper be enough? Trying to wrap my head around it..! 🙃

      Same question. What's the point of all that extra material?

    Any other gigbags you recommend while traveling with a gibson style guitar?

    • @AndyDoveGuitar
      @AndyDoveGuitar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks so much for watching Harm, well to be honest like I said in the video, it's great in this bag, no movement and plenty of support on the neck, however anyone who uses a gig bag for a Les Paul style guitar is brave. All it takes is one careless knock when unloading and you could be in for a bit of headstock heartache. If it's only you in charge then fine, but at a gig if you have other people help unload etc I just wouldn't risk it. Or even gear being stacked on top of it in a car/van, you are just asking for trouble, so I would keep the Gibson's in the Hardcases that they come with, that's the best thing for them where the belong, especially in my case where they are vintage, they need looking after! Gibson do make some padded soft cases tho, worth checking out if you are keen, but again for me I'm leaving them in the Hardcases they can with, plenty of neck supports and padded interior! I've used this Mono gig bag with my telecaster and Kramer's mostly as that's what I use when I'm teaching and travelling the most, hope that helps 😎🎸

    Do you reckon it'd take reverend guitars okay?

    • @AndyDoveGuitar
      @AndyDoveGuitar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Heya, thanks for watching, I've never owned a reverend guitar myself sadly (actually keen to try one out) but I can imagine it'd be fine, a lot of their models are telecaster or offset inspired, so they'll deffo fit! Was there any particular model you had in mind? Let me know, I'm happy to try and take some measurements if I can help, cheers! 😎

    A guitar can be stored with Bigsby

    • @AndyDoveGuitar
      @AndyDoveGuitar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ahh that's good to know, I don't actually own a bigsby equipped Guitar (must change that soon!) But thank you for watching and commenting to let everyone else know. 😎🤘

      @@AndyDoveGuitar Sorry bro!
      Estaba preguntando. Si la funda sirve para una guitarra con Bigsby. ¿? :)

    • @AndyDoveGuitar
      @AndyDoveGuitar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No problems, If I get a guitar with a bigsby I'll be sure to let you know! It would really depend on a guitar by guitar basis, a hollowbody/semi hollow like a Es- 335 wouldn't fit, but a Les Paul with a bigsby I would imagine would fit. Sadly I don't know anyone who has a bigsby equipped guitar to test with, but thank you for watching! 😎🎸
