An overwhelming percentage of young monkeys dont make it to adulthood. That's facts not opinion.
These are monkeys not human babys, in fact, they are not human beings at all!
They know nothing about being a nanny or helping with transitioning.
Their daily goal is to find food, stay alive, watch out for predators and to survive.
Their not suppose to be bogged down with carrying or nursing abandoned or orphan monkeys.
Many have their own babys to care for.
Zuri will catch on and will figure out surviving.
There are tons of orphaned monkeys in the wild.
They are just unfortunate and must learn sooner than later.
Thats why its better when mothers start weaning days after birth and why they begin teaching them from the moment of birth.
Anything can happen in the wild, the sooner their prepared the better.
