Well you certainly put some work into this Hilary, and it really paid off, absolutely marvellous and the table shots were a real bonus. Wasn't she just a picture, a real credit to those who worked hard to turn her out for this occasion. Well done everyone not least yourself.
Excellent video, you certainly covered some miles to get 6 shots! I live in Sherborne so would normally have seen it there but there were two top and tail 47s going to Weymouth so I decided to go down to Dorchester and Upwey for them. Subscribed.
Great stuff. I think I heard her lose her footing on the climb through Bincombe Tunnel…wet rails, no doubt. Bulleid Pacifics are my hero steam locomotives!
No, diesel didn’t do much but was on the back to take the coaches and passengers from Yeovil to Weymouth. Clan Line initially stayed at Yeovil for servicing and turning. It’s the only way they can turn things around.

Super capture’s 👍thanks for sharing
Busy day Hils, thanks for your efforts in the heat. Turntable shots were particularly interesting 😃
Thanks Roger. It was a bit of a canter across the counties, but enjoyable. 😊 Hilary
Just top footage Hilary - and well planned, even if you had to change them, it looks like you had a Plan B! Cheers, Brian

Thank you for your nice comments Nick. Clan Line always puts on a good show, so it’s worth going the extra mile(s) to see her 😊 Hilary
Super video Hils, thumbs up :)
Thanks, Simon 😊 Hilary

Thank you. I didn’t notice that. 😊 Hilary
This commentates 55 years since steam on the southern region ended
Yes, it certainly does. It was the first time Clan Line had been down to Weymouth for many years, I believe.
Wow , looks as its not needing diesel assist ?
