I ❤️ Sky so much. The first video my husband showed me was the bell video, and I have adored her ever since. She’s so gentle and passive...just a lovely puppy (and yes, I know she’s not an actual puppy. Lol).
I owned three Huskies and they all LOVED raw beef bone marrow mixed with kibble for breakfast. You can get soup beef bones from the frozen section at most grocery stores. They usually come in a thick plastic bag which you must keep in the freezer. Only thaw one at a time and use a knife (don't stab yourself) to dig out marrow (one lasts one dog 3-6 days). It's highly concentrated so you don't need that much mixed w kibble. My dogs were all VERY healthy on this diet.
yes Sky isnt used to the meat to rip it apart like other huskies that have had teh raw meat for a long time so cut it up smaller for her the piece was too big. Your dogs have great manners so they can't manage the large chunks lol spoilt babies they are so cute :)
I think Sky is used to her daily food so she does not feel comfortable with new food always but Kakoa is adventurous so she likes trying different kind of food🐶
I think the reason sky was so hesitant is because her entire life, since she’s older, she hasn’t had raw meat, so she may have thought it was a test to see if she would steal human food.
Most dry food is sprayed with animal fats to encourage animals to eat it. Try mixing in chunks of meat with their kibble to introduce them to the higher quality food. They’ll learn very quickly that even if the raw doesn’t smell as enticing that it’s better quality and they’ll go for it over any kibble!
i would try grinding up the meat with veggies and herbs my dog daisy wasa just like sky she licked the meat but would NOT eat it,, i use sweet potato, yams, green beans , carrots and spiniach,, eggs (save t he shells and put them in the oven to dry then blend into a powder and put on their food its a great source of calcium) then for herbs rosemary, parsley, and turmeric they are all great for the immune system as well as anti cancerous for humans and dogs...you should also really use 3 different types of protein when feeding your dog raw i.e ( beef, pork, chicken) use the hearts, meat, gizzards, organs i cut off all the skin and fat its not good for them...maybe for sky i would suggest mixing her raw in with kibble for now until she gets used to it that's how i introduced my dog to raw... hope your having a great day and thanks for the video!! hope this helps
Great video again. It's really amazing that kakoa prefers the raw meat and sky doesn't even want to try it! Fun to watch. I wonder if it would have made any difference of you'd cut the meat in smaller pieces so sky could eat it without chewing. On video ideas. I really like the vlog type videos, day at the beach etc but also the challenge videos where you challenge your huskies. Like hiding treats in your house or garden and have the dogs find them. But to be honest, any video of the dogs is fine by me. I love seeing them, always looking forward to your videos. So thanks for sharing!

I watched over my brother in law's cat for 2 months. He would always come in the kitchen when I made food and got a bit of the meat after I was done eating. The only thing he didn't seem to like was scampi. 😂
This was fun to watch I love the challenges you give your Huskies. They are so beautiful! I love how Kakoa ate all of it, and Sky didn't want any of it, they are so opposite, but it's so cool to see. Maybe she will get used to it sometime, maybe you just have to try other kinds of meat! I love Huskies I don't have any now, but I grew up with them they are still one of my favorite breeds!
That would be my cat. She's very picky about new foods. That's why she's a petite 6 lb tabby. Not a big eater, eats like a bird, but God forbid her bowl is ever empty. She comes to let us know when it's low & won't leave us alone til it's filled.
Canines in general are made to digest raw meat without it negatively affecting them, they've got a really strong stomach. Instead of eating plants to get nutrients, wolves, foxes, coyotes, and other canine species get it from the guts of the animal they kill and usually leaves the rest for other animals that find it or leftovers for the rest of the pack. Breeding dogs to make new breeds don't get rid of that strong stomach.
Most would go straight to raw even if they've never had raw They just know what's better food and natural But there are some dogs that will just stick to what's familiar to them despite some dogs that are picky
Kibble is designed to make the dog hungry. That way the dog will eat more and you will buy more which makes it extremely profitable and difficult to resist.

Don’t mix raw and kibble, their stomach level needs to be low enough for raw meat and mixing kibble with it, will never achieve it.
