Dexterplayz. Seek infects giggles causing serious pain sometimes grumbles find the infected giggles and kill them but normally seek will take control of the giggle turning it into a screech there are thousands of screeches in the mines and a few in the hotel none in rooms or the backdoor as they can't reach there due to curious light who is one of the 3 architects who are mischievous light,guiding light and curious light.With all that in mind we can say the screeches are just infected giggles(i know all this because im a doors lore theorist).
