Here after hearing about Aoki and for those who don't know Atsushi Aoki just passed away on 03 June 2019 10:30 pm(JST) after he was gravely injured on a motorcycle accident on his way to workand later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. He was 41 at the time a total pro, won many championships and had plenty of great matches.😭😭😭 Pls support by sending your thoughts and prayers to Aoki his family friends and friends. IMO Aoki needs to sign back with NOAH, I feel he's getting stagnant over at AJPW despite his accomplishments, they desperately need a ring technician/Kikuchi-stubborn af type
It's a shame. He is such a talented worker, and I loved his recent work with Shida-san! Him coming back to NOAHs junior devision and potential matches with Harada, or Kenou sound awesome! Plus, he is a really nice dude in real life. :)
+Chris Purolover true dat, plus a match with heel Kanemaru where he puts him over will do great wonders, also since he's Akiyama's pupil, he should adopt the WC Exploder as his new finisher too
durandutz Absolutely. So many great concepts and options to consider. I can't believe that he isn't in the J-Cup. An absolute shame. Just like Kaji Tomato, who dropped out earlier. In generel, it's really cool that NOAH is represented, but I miss some other promotions.
+Chris Purolover was just watching his match with Kaji 2 weeks earlier, yeah too bad, and also he got the rub from Fujiwara 6 yrs later from this match with his student MiSuzu in a UWF style match
A very nice match that combined not only technical quality with good pacing, but beautiful fighting spirit! Aoki was such a great underdog, I really was cheering for him to win. Brutal, technical, well paced, well told, all in all an awesome bout.

青木とは高校時代同じクラスでした。
憧れのプロレスラーは鈴木みのるとダイナマイトキッドだと言ってました。
憧れの鈴木選手とこうして対峙できたこと、夢を叶えられた友人を誇りに思います。
