SB is side back 2 strips and CB is Center back also 2 strips For measurements, use another skirt that fits well, I don’t have mannequin either, that’s what I use.
Maybe you ought to think about changing the audio at the beginning of your video, because the first thing that happens when someone clicks on you are the words "kill you," - I almost didn't continue, which would have been unfortunate, because it is a truly excellent video
Thank you for this @loveydub 🙏 I edited it already 🙏 all this time I wasnt aware about the beginning audio of this turorial 😔 Really appreciate youre effort to comment and suggest to edit my video your care means a lot 🙏❤🙏
Love ur video, how do you take it off the mannequin if the needles are there? How are you supposed to sew it back if your goin to have to take all the needles back? Thank you
Hi Obi , about the measurement of the spread on each pleats , it all depends on your preference 👍 theres no standard measure.... thats why its important to test it first on a cheap fabric.
I am here to give a feedback, I did try it, the only issue I have is the pleats not extending to the other side, so I had to use handle needle to hold and extend it. I used 1inches between each.
I hope you can help me mamsh on how to line a mermaid cut gown na nasa loob ang mga seams. And also i have a question po about the fusible fabric, Sa lining po ba sya idikit? Or sa outer fabric?
I cannot see. Are you folding at the top dot then folding the pleat or connecting both dots then fold up? Also how many inches did you spread the pieces? Thank you for sharing so beautiful 😍

Its beacause these are the area where we take in or take out when the dress needs ajustments , esp. the side seams and Center back seam that has 1 or 1.5" allowance.

I wonder what would be the best way to turn this into a dress. Can you show that too please

Hi , yes , naglalagay pa rin ako 😊
Olá. Não entendi esse evasé na hora da modelagem, sendo que o modelo parece saia justa .Obrigada
Why were the seam allowances different for certain seams? Just curious.
Its beacause these are the area where we take in or take out when the dress needs ajustments , esp. the side seams and Center back seam that has 1 or 1.5" allowance.

how if i want to make drape both side of the skirt ... i mean howto cut hehe
Hello thank you for the tutorial do I need a dart or no dart for the front
Yes always close the dart first before doing the slash & spread method. 😊🎂
@@TheSewistbyCen thank you so much this helps
At the end of video the top of skirt appeared wide than waist why? Thanks🌹
Hi Seham , The skirt is my client's size 😊 not the mannequin. . .
How much fabric would you say it took for this (in yards)?
For the skirt alone its 2 to 2.5 yards , but if it has train it would be longer.
@@TheSewistbyCen please does SB and CB stand for in the video
@@ijehmakuochiconfidence6085 SB stands for side back and CB is center back

Hi ,

My question is, this side pleating on skirt, does it work on any kind of material?? Cause I tried it on one and it did not come out well at all😥😥
Thats right , different fabric different effect .... I used Gazar in this tutorial , which is a woven fabric with structure.

What does cb and side panel mean

😍😍
Why is the seam allowance so big? 1.5 inches seems like a lot.
Miss cen may dart allowance po ba yung skirt pattern na nilagyan ng pleats? Thnakyou in advance po
Hi Angelo , yung dart kailangan i-close mo lang siya bago mo i-guhit yung slash lines and i-spread 😊👍
@@TheSewistbyCen wow thankyou po sa instructions. Then yung darts po malilipat na yun sa pleats? Ganun po ba even sa draped sweetheart top?
Yes tama , malilipat na siya lahat sa pleats 👍
