My faith in life has been severely tested recently. Although I was born in Islam I didn't practice until I was 24 - I am 63 now. Recently I felt that although there is a God and the beautiful Prophets, upon whom be peace, life was meaningless. This is because I am seriously disabled by a crippling illness and felt that because of it, I had nothing to offer. But hearing your words "life is a test" has given me the will to live and try to offer something. We can only try and work hard - success is in God's hands. And He rewards good intentions. Yes, I was amazed by the ayah where Allah SWT describes the sky in sura Mulk. That he made it perfect, you can't find a hole. When I was a little girl I used to look at the sky in search of the place where the parts of the sky were connected, but I couldn't find them and I looked down

Mufti Taqi Usmani the famous Islamic scholar says every supplication of a believer is being accepted by God in following different ways.
1)For some God gives exactly what he asked.
2)For some God avoid him from calamity/hardships/difficulties in return of the prayer.
3)For some ALLAH doesn't fulfill our desires because what we are asking is dangerous for us but we don't know but ALLAH being the Knower of unseen knows that it's dangerous for us.
4)For some ALLAH keeps its ajar/return for the endless life of Akhirat/life after death.
But one supplication is that which is always being accepted exactly what we asked and that is seeking hidayah because there is nothing better than it at all...
