The option for vella makes it seem like it's quick and (mostly) harmless, but rory's option makes it seem like Alex is slowly leaning over the table straining himself, while rory hides in his jacket or ducks to avoid it

Throughout the stream, he would play the Ishtar trailer here and there since they had just referenced it in one of their then-recent videos, and then he ended the stream with a stretched out edit of it that lasted 15 or 30 minutes. I really wish I could find the whole thing somewhere, it was fun.

It's fine to make a character driven story, but you need to have plenty of moments where they interact and get to know each other for it to work. You aren't going to care about the characters if you never get to know them. In yiik they try to do some persona calendar gameplay near the end but it completely fails because by the time people get to it the game was nearly about to reach the climax only to be blocked by the persona calendar mechanics. The dev should've had those character interactions moments happen throughout the world throughout the entire game rather than all at once. Maybe with the side content happening through quests, have their paranormal forums be a main hub for side quests if they want to put all those character interactions into that.
