So its bit more specific. You have to ki pulse the Yokai realm using the AoE of your ki pulse. If you completely walk into a Yokai realm while in Yokai Shift, they will just disappear.
This is huge. Are there any spirits, stats that increase this mechanic? Or add it? Or is it always available. Regardless glad to see a new use for the pots aside from bullying human enemies
Very nice showcase ! And I'll be regretting forever not to be able to get that set you were given access to from pre-oredering the deluxe version of the game ...
Idk if they patched this or not but it is incredibly hard to actually perform the Yokai form purification on the Yokai pools. It's like a frame perfect input that requires precise angles to work 10% of the time. And seems to only be possible with the feral form. That's a damn shame because the combo of the owl pools and this could have made for a great yokai form build.
They stopped patching the game years ago so the purification trick should still work. The tricky part is mostly getting the spacing right; the Ki pulse window is longer than you might think. It definietly works with all forms, imo, Phantom is the easiest to do it with as you can just face your back to the pool and do a quick attack before moving slightly into range for the Ki pulse. Feral is right behind it, but due to the forward momentum of Feral's quick attacks, you need to aim to the sides of the yokai pool so that you are in range of the pool to Ki pulse. Brute is by far the hardest due to its wide swings and slow recovery which threaten to purify the yokai pools or make it so that you can't get the correct spacing in time for the ki pulse. The easiest way to perform this trick with Brute is to face to the right of the yokai pool and use Brute's strong attack which only covers the right side of your character and has shorter recovery.
Bro...as a level 300+...this is all a bit too much. I cant wait till my game can look that flashy tho! Amazing gameplay. If I may ask tho. How come my Gozuki is red and yours is blue?
oh, so while critical hp dmg won't work in YS, last gambit does, since technically it's just a buff that caps your health and gives a separate dmg boost then the health cap allows janomecho's dmg boost health lost to work as well? would you say it's better over unscathed dmg bonuses?
@@adhdasdfroflxd123 Yeah thats exactly how Last Gambit works. It gives you an active damage buff while setting your health to critical; which also lets you get the most out of Damage Bonus (Health Lost). I think it is better (as far as damage is concerned) than unscathed bonuses, since most unscathed bonuses will be on gear and therefore conflict with regular melee damage effects anyway.
Depths difficulty: "Am I a joke to you?"
Great! You even used that techinque of yours to replenish your YS gauge by purifying the yokai realm! 👏🤜⛩️
Thanks! And yeah, thought I would sneak that trick in lmao
2500 hrs into the game and im just now learning you can replenish yokai shift gauge by ki pulsing yokai relams......

Honestly this changes everything
I didnt even knew you can ki pulse in yokai shift...
@@threedog27 Useful for animation cancelling. You can even ki pulse the Yokai Shift Guardian Spirit attack.

I don’t know if I want to waste my last brain cell on this. I’ll think about it tonight.

You can at least subsitute Demon Incarnate for Shadows of a Dream
@@UnknownZealot77 Thanks for the advice but I like this game so much, would have liked to be able to « fully explore » it ! ;)
I love sarutahiku set but why is it so hard to get T_T specially on a yasakani magatama

@UnknownZealot77 I was trying phantom facing away but for some reason it was purifying it with the attack.
@alephnole7009 You might be too close the pool

soul merging a core with a mortal soul core lets you change its color to whatever you want
