    This is why I prefer your channel over most nerf content creators.
    You understand the blaster you’re using to a tee, and provide info on the proper supplies and maintenance required to take advantage of it.
    A lot of other TH-camrs just have a one-and-done process, especially when it comes to the hobby grade blasters.

    I've been following the development of this blaster for last year and a half. Ever since I 1st discovered HPA in Nerf. Though isn't very prevalent here in the states, airsoft certainly is. I had considered that the 2 could be married given the proper motivation and expenditure of R. & D. Cash. I'm glad to see the Company is represented here in the states by Frontline Foam. I also another very well known nerfer state side have a seemingly hellofatime with an early prototype of this blaster. Glad to see every single issue was delt with obviously.

    I found the Co2 stock is better than the tank stock. With practice, I can quickly switch a Co2 bottle within 40 sec while refilling the tank always take me up to 5mins, not mention you gonna need a pumper which is impossible to carry on you during a game. Plus a single tank stock kit costs up to 350 AUD here....basically half price of the blaster itself.

    Great review as always. Thorough, balanced and well thought through.
    Really pleased to see this after the US review by a well known nerf personality. Unfortunately much of the feedback pointing out errors in that review has been hidden in the comments, it was however pretty clear that reviewer did not do a thorough job of preparing for it, no idea about the charging handle, bottle pressure etc. I also find it very strange that after their strong stance and criticism of this blaster that other US reviewers have not come out with their own reviews.
    Whilst I love the idea of the blaster and would love one myself, I am not sure how balanced it would be in a nerf only play-field. I feel like against gel-blaster aeg's it is balanced nicely, but against springer and fly wheels in high fps games it places too much firepower in one player.
    Once possible way to balance may be using a max ammo count for rounds, reducing the impact of the high rof of the blaster.
    All up, great work.

      @@kalebrunton527 I mean, it is pretty niche considering its more realistic appearance (and simply the fact that it's HPA powered), but I wouldn't say that it has absolutely zero place in the entirety of the nerfing hobby. That is, as long as people use it responsibly of course.

    • @BradleyPhillipsYT

      @@kalebrunton527 i don't understand this stance.
      Don't most modders in the hobby look for way to push performance wheather it's stronger springs, or tighter flywheels to achieve "maximum performance"? Whats the point of trying to push limis if there's a ceiling? If stock nerf is 70fps, and we as a hobby are willing to accept near 200fps bc they made a whole new cage system or upgrade springs, why decide it's not acceptable in the comunity anymore bc they found a new propulsion technique that blows the previos 2 out the water? Isn't that progression in the hobby?

    • @bigtyesmo
      @bigtyesmo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@kalebrunton527 I believe statements like “no place in the hobby” don’t really fit in nerf.
      Here in Melbourne I have played with people in milsim gear and another dressed as a wizard, in the same game. If it is safe and fun, I think there is room in nerf for it.
      New blasters help develop new ways to play. It was not long ago that people complained 3s fly wheelers were ruining nerf, the ability to fire darts everywhere ruining the game. Then there were those complaining high power springers (200fps +) had no place, too unsafe. Now we have new ways to play. A person on reddit/nerf has been running a caliburn at airsoft fields in US, same as Brad has been running nerf at gelball. New ways to enjoy the hobby.
      I think as long as it is safe and fun, there is a place in nerf for it. Those running an M79 will need to consider where they field it to be safe, and nerf groups will need to consider how to balance it to be fun. But it will likely open new ways to play.

      Active airsoft armorer here. These things are stupid easy to use and tune. Your biggest challenge is deciding if you want to buy your own compressor to save cash or pay to use a fields compressor to fill your cans or use co2 carts. Otherwise attach your chosen power source (hpa/co2), turn on, waste your competition. It's a vastly improved model over the Umarex REKT co2 powered nerf blasters.

      @@Makotosaber does a child know the inner workings of the nerf gun he just purchased? No, but he can pick it up, load a mag, and shoot it as easily as a real gun. That child who accidentally shot his friend with a 9mm at first touch of a gun, knew how to load and fire it, accidentally discharge it, all without reading a single thing. Kids get handed toys all the time and play with them without reading the instructions like an adult would. Kids can put batteries in and fire a Nerf Rapidstrike without ever knowing how a motor works. They can fire a longshot without ever knowing about airseals, air volume, barrel tightness, ammo weight and diameter. This is no different, a kid can easily figure out how to load and fire a BB gun but will never look at it like an adult to figure out any complexities behind it. They are happy just to shoot it, simplistic fun. Adults worry about things such as min/maxxing stats on the blasters. Best air volume, least friction, dart construction, accuracy, durability. A child will pick it up, load it, fire it and be in absolute glory to have fun. We add the complexity to devices built to bring simple pleasure and joy. Those kids in the video are having the joyous times of their lives and amazed at the blaster. As adults we make the choice to rip it apart and make it more difficult. As kids we just want it in our hands and to have fun, we didn't look to spend hours on how to squeak out every possible fps.

    lol. I’ve been playing paintball over 8 years. You don’t need to fill hpa tanks in a tub of water. They don’t get that hot. I’ve literally never seen anyone do that and I own like 6 tanks myself.

      All the gel ball guys I know do fill with it in water due to the heat

    • @Isaac_L..
      @Isaac_L.. 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bet it's just a comfort thing. Like it can definitely get a bit warm but it's not going to burn you or anything. Especially if you keep the tank in the shade when not playing it'll cool off pretty quick. I also use neoprene tank covers on about half of my tanks (which will mean you can't slide the stock thing on) and that does a good job slowing how quickly it takes to heat up and makes it more comfy. There might be a reason with the functionality of the gel guns as where they require colder air going out of the tank, but never then the tank will cool off when it releases pressure (especially rapidly).

    • @Isaac_L..
      @Isaac_L.. 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also getting water inside your tank is a huge safety issue. It can rust the tank from the inside out which is dangerous for obvious reasons. That's one of the primary reasons tanks should always be stored with a little bit of pressure in them so that everything's sealed up. So if you are going to fill tanks with them in the water for cooling, make sure the regulator is kept well out of the water, cause if water gets in there that's a big hazard for everyone in a 20 foot radius.

    • @BradleyPhillipsYT
      @BradleyPhillipsYT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Isaac_L.. From what I heard it allows you to get more air in the tank the cooler it is. If that makes sense?

    • @Isaac_L..
      @Isaac_L.. 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that is definitely a thing. When you fill up the tank it heats up. Once it cools down it you will loose a couple hundred psi. I guess from the paintball perspective, we don't care that much. Well refill our tanks like four times a day and a couple hundred psi just isn't a big deal. I guess if you are hooking your tank directly up to a compressor (rather than refilling off scuba tanks-which is what you fill with the compressor- which will refill a little 13 ci like that well over a dozen times) then you can fit like 3% more air. But you could also just let the tank cool for a few minutes and then top it off again. I guess with gell balls they won't use much air per shot (just less energy needed) so that extra 3% more air could get you guys like 120 more shots, enough for another round, compared to paintball which would get us like 30 more shots. I'd definitely recommend convincing one of your gell ball buddies to get a scuba tank or two and the fill station. Everyone could refill as much as they want in a day and it's a lot easier. Literally you just hook the tanks up, open the valve, shut the valve, bleed air, and unhook the tank. It takes less than a minute and you don't even have to take your tank off the gun.
