MUN 3.0- 2024

On the occasion of Gurunanak Jayanti, the DAV Public School, New Panvel hosted Model United Nations 3.0 (MUN) on 15th November 2024, under the guidance of Principal Mr. Sumanth Ghosh. The event engaged 127 students from grades IX to XII in a simulation of United Nations committees to explore global issues and diplomacy. It included five committees with agendas on pressing topics, such as human rights in AI, the dark web’s effects on women, global security, India’s financial budget, and cybercrime in Eastern Europe. Alumni served as chairpersons, and the Sharp Eagle IP media agency documented the proceedings. Students developed public speaking, research, critical thinking, and persuasive skills, making the event an impactful experiential learning opportunity on global affairs and cooperation. The alumni also provided their valuable feedback about the event, enhancing the students’ understanding and experience.
