I always felt like my reverse mini looked bigger than my monogram mini when I had the 2 in the old version , I think it is because it’s a lighter canvas , I can fit all the same things in my new version as I could with my old version , I think the zipper just makes it more structured since the front flap doesn’t get pushed in . The reverse never had the flaking issue with the canvas that the monogram did , I think also because it’s a softer canvas in general . The new zipper is like a dream for sure ! Thanks for sharing ! Funnily enough there were size differences albeit minor, between the four that were in store for me to choose from. It wasn’t enough to effect what they would fit, but it’s just interesting how some can appear larger than others. My old mono PSM did look bigger than the new zipper versions but I’m sure it’s as you said - because of the front flap ☺️ Thank you so much for watching!! Xx

I do still have 2 in the old version and I feel like they are squishier if that makes sense , the new zipper seems to make the PSM seem more structured and it seems to help it keep it shape more . If I’m being honest , I really do prefer it in the old version for the larger PM size , but for the mini , the new zipper makes it so much easier to get in and out of that it’s now so perfect .And mine does seem wider at the top than some of my friends that have the mini from this year , I got mine when the new version first released last year ,I was lucky to get a made in France too and it’s just perfect , I love the Palm Springs line so much , I am happy to have 3 different canvas’
I wonder if there is a way to condition canvas; I'm getting ready to move to West Africa and I'm a bit worried about the weather messing with my luxury items. My collection is small anyway and I'm thinking of making it smaller because we travel all over the world and I have anxiety about transporting things from country to country.
Definitely been noticing Louis Vuitton’s quality going down in the last recent years. Never the less I still love this bag and many of their other designs. I just wish they would QA the products. Thanks for sharing!
I think the problem with the original Palm Springs was that it was a design flaw... so they didn’t know how the bag would wear until they had multiple customers return with the same issue. It’s great they corrected the design with the new zipper though! Hopefully there won’t be any issues with the new design, but only time will tell 😊 I agree, their quality control could definitely improve and be more consistent though 👌🏼 Thank you so much for watching! I just seen your video on favorite minis then came here! Haha I got my psm last year in august with the new zipper and in the beginning of this year I noticed the same wear on my bag! But at the two front corners. I took it into my SA and she said due to them being at the front corners it can be just normal wear of me bumping the bag into stuff. But I am really careful with my bags and rotate them normally. So it didn’t make sense me to have that bad of wear in less than a year. I also asked if I can pay to get it fixed but they said that since it’s so minor that it wouldn’t make sense to fix it right now. So I would pretty much need to wait till it got really bad to get something done haha. I’m a little disappointed and haven’t used it since. I’m going to sell mine cause I feel over time it will just get worse. It was definitely a wishlist bag for me so I’m sad letting it go.

Hi! I have the psm in reverse monogram, i rarely used it and baby it eversince. After about 5 months having it (idont use my bag a lot) i started to realize that the glazing of my leather tab start to peel off. I go to my lv local store in indonesia, and they said that its normal of usage. And told me that i can pay around 300 usd to change all the leather tab which takes 4 months long. Crazy, im so dissapointed since i watched a lot video abt this quality issue with this bag, and everyone just easily swab to the new one in exchange immediately😭😢 Im not certain why, but here in lv indo is not helpful. They dont even inspect my bag properly and told me that is normal. I cant justify buying luxury items for only about months having it and starting to get issue like this, and the more ridiculously thay ask me to pay extramoney to get it fix. While i just bought the bag.😣😢 May i ask how u ask them that they want to replace it for you ? Thankyou so much
I’m sorry to hear you have not had a great experience. I just took my bag to the boutique that I always shop at and showed my CA my bag. They inspect it in-store and decide if it is defective or not. I think you should try calling client services or take it back to the store and see if you can speak to someone more helpful. I hope they are able to assist you and wish you all the very best! ☺️

Great side by side comparison and review of the new vs old PSM! I personally prefer the newer style and just got mine a couple of months ago - I love it! 🥰 I’d be curious to know where the other PSMs that seemed a bit dodge were made.. I initially had one that was made in Spain and the front alignment wasn’t right, so I swapped it for another that was made in France and it’s perfect ❤️
My new one is made in France and the other one I was tossing up between was made in Spain. Not sure if that makes a difference but I’m looking forward to seeing how this new one wears - hopefully it stays perfect! 😁❤️
