Genesis 1.1 -3...appears to be the abstract of the entire chapter.. The "issue of amalgamation of "immortality and mortality" does not truly flow from the passage..is it the explanation of the Dr Damina ? Thank you for the exegesis.
Now , I believe that our people are very gullible. I’m not against what Abel Damina is teaching or preaching. But I’m surprised at the way the people are yelling and applauding even when they are not given the opportunity to ask questions. My take is when did Abel start preaching and when did he suddenly get these teachings ? I agree that revelations could be given at any point in time like the case of Isaiah 6 and Daniel. However , my point is do they just believe anything without asking questions. This should be an interactive session where you teach what you believe and answer the people’s questions. This is my take .
Yes the first LIGHT in verse 1 and two was talking of the glory of of God or presence of God. Same light was spoken of in the holys of holy. That room was lited up by Gods glory or presence. But Gods presence will not behold iniquity so therefore, it makes sense to me since God knew man would sin and according to the story of Noah where God says his spirit will not contend (dwell, stay etc) with man forever, he will then create lights (Sun, moon, stars) to provide light for men. So that when they eventually fall these lights will be still serve both the righteous and unrighteous therfore creating a level playing ground. This shows how loving God is. Again. These issues are not the core of our message of Christ. Lets reveal Christ in the old testament and point believers to how he saves.
