thanks for posting this video, I'm about to tackle an install of this exact camera into a VX myself. I've had a great run with the ITEC 120x batteries. you should get a 1240d and replace the 1225d with it because lithium can handle the faster charging where a AGM would have problems . the 1240d is recommended for lithium batteries 100ah and bigger. you will benefit from it. The other option and one I'm looking at is the DCS 260ah duel battery setup for the lc200 .made to be put under Bonet and has to 130ah lithium hybrid lithium batteries that are made for starting and storage with built in mppt solar import. something for you to look at . you also don't need the redarc bcdc as they are hooked up direct
Thx mate yeah you are right and to retain the health of the battery long term I think The Manager 30 would be even better. Have this in my caravan and love it. Pretty big unit however. Might actually save it for the next car/ fit out. Good luck with the camera install.
Great video, thank you. On a slightly different topic, where did you get your brass busbar? All the ones I'm seeing in auto stores are tiny flimsy things.
I literally had paused the vid to look into busbars and then put in the comment and when I hit play again you called it out as a Victron SmartShunt. Sorry for the pre-emptive comment!
Hey mate where the fuses in there smaller then the blade fuse holders they give u with the kit? My 08 fuses are small then the larger fuses in the engine bay
Yes they are smaller than a normal blade fuse. About the size of a small pinky fingernail. In the video I show the product packaging from Jaycar for the fuse holder, can’t recall if they are called micro or mini.

Thanks for the vid, much appreciated.
Thanks mate, installing mine in the 200 now.
No worries mate, hope the vid helps and saves you a bit of time.
