Love the point about the dramatic U turn on headshots but going mad on croc rolls and incidents like o tooles. The elephant in the room is the southern hemisphere.
Im as red blooded a munster supporter as you will find and that was an incident / accident. It wasnt a red. Im gonna be bitter as a lemon without Nank for the foreseeable but o'toole doesnt go for his leg 🦵. Its like they didnt review the footage
Shocking take about munster being clinical v ulster and not taking opportunities v leinster. Jacques Nienaber defense v ulsters soft a shite offering. Just a little bit of a difference there genius
Unfortunately it’s physics when Munster get into the 22 against bigger teams. It’s not lack of clinical edge, cuteness etc.. they are simply too small in the front 5 to get through Leinster
Luke Fitzgerald is insufferable. Maybe ask Harry Byrne if he wants to move to Ulster. Maybe ask Richie Murphy if he wants him, instead of being continually "baffled"
Luke Fitzgerald saves this podcast. Without him it actually wouldn’t be worth listening to. Jonathan unfortunately needs to stick to the Bbc. He takes extremely long to articulate a very simple thought. Fitzgerald you actually get good material in a timely manner.
Where does Barrett play for Leinster this week? Jamie Osborne has been Leinsters best back line players this season at 12 and 15, not to mention what he did in the summer in South Africa. He has to start somewhere.
Osborne is 6 foot 4, moves quick, a proper physical specimen, unbelievable hands and offloading skills. He’s the Irish version of Jordie Barrett literally.
More players should consider it. Not just Ulster but any of the other provinces. It’s better than sitting fourth or fifth in the pecking order and Leinster and getting no game time. Either that or head abroad for a bit and show what you can do. Worked for Beirne.
@@jmo8934 do they not lose out on the tax benefits if they play outside the Republic? I thought that was a factor in Leinster players not wanting to go North. Although that shouldn't stop them looking for a slot at Munster or Connacht, mind you.
@@johnmurray2995well they're paid by the IRFU and they're set in Ireland. Also the whole of Ulster isn't in the UK, only 6 countries are. So you could play for Ulster and still live in Ireland. Its up to Ulster, Munster and Connacht to up their game on creating better ways to make better players. It took Leinster over 20 years to do this, no one was moaning then. But seem to moan now because Leinsters hard work is starting to pay off. Instead of Leinster buying its own stadium or Buying marquee players, it went right to the bottom of grassroots and started from the ground up

Good chat. Thanks lads
Enjoyed this episode. Cheers fellas.
How many matches will nankerval be out for
Ooh, law changes - great. Just what we tune in for!
Line out time limit might actually help the Irish team and provinces, always think they faff about too much. Get the shagging ball in and jump
What about the line out time limit? If you've just got a 50-22 , forwards aren't gonna thank the ref for being blown for taking too long

Ring rose is my starting 13 his rush defence it world class.
What about the injured player
luke mustnt have seen how bad lar lineout was at the week end
I would put Barrett at 15 keenan hasn’t been the same player since he returned from 7s
Harry Byrne is not 'a very, very good' player

I'd imagine Osborne will start at 15, given Keenan is just coming back from injury
Osborne deserves 15 spot. Keenan quiet the past few months due to injury. Two amazing options.
He is the best 12 in the world....

Barrett at first centre.
👍
No Leinster player wants to go to ulster 👌
