After hearing the spies theme for all season 2, when I heard this track (especially 1:17), I really got goose bumps. Season 2 is the best season so far.

1:18 is my favorite part of the song for a good reason... It captured perfectly what this event was. The whole long 4 months of this amazing season had all come to this, and you could tell since it was playing the Season's theme mixed with a beautiful song making what feels like the end of a season, and the start of something huge... It also captures the immense power Midas was using to fight back this storm that he thought would be gone once and for all.... and that is why it's my favorite part.
Season 2 was the best season I've ever played and the event was not only the best out of all of them (in my opinion) but it also had the best music... I don't think they will ever be able to replicate such an amazing season, but they can certainly make another great one! So I hope this season continues to be a great one, and the next one does to!
bro this is exactly what i was thinking, the fact that they mixed in the whole of the season 2 theme was amazing to me, it gave me goose bumps with how well they played the motif in this big orchestra set

I love that part too. I just love The Device, The End, the Spies!, The Final Showdown and the Fortnitemares 2020 music packs. But this one is the best and the even was great. I'm sure that the Galactus event will be a great event too. Maybe even better than the Final Showdown event.

mikoprimeb actually they moved the bday event. Way back in season 5 I knew something wasn’t right when they did the happy birthday in July/August then I figured out I was right it wasn’t it was Save the worlds and the battle Royales is in September. Since save the world is a separate game now it makes sense that they did this but the fact they didn’t do this since the beginning doesn’t really make sense though but I definitely think we will get the 3rd bday event because it too big of a opportunity to pass up for money 😂

What was the point of the event anyway? He litterally blew up his agency for nothing pushed a storm for 10 minutes and caused a tidal wave and later on a flood, and what was with the sudden change from ghost to shadow, did he think he could just blow up a building in the centre of an island and just change to shadow with no one noticing it? In real life that would be like McDonald's triggering an explosion on all thier stores across the world and then signing everything they had over to kfc, then making a worldwide flood with some fancy lightbulb, all he did was make himself more noticeable by the community so the sudden change of allegiance is just confusing.
Jake Ratchford the original plan was to break the storm, and escape into the real world, but the device failed because shadow rigged the device to cause the flood, and took over during the event. As we saw in the office cutscenes, we were able to escape to the real world out of the simulation for a short time before the device brought us back
@@jakeratchford4129 i personally believe he didnt switch to shadow and that shadow midas as a boss was a placeholder model. let me explain: as you said the agency was destroyed making it a perfect target for takeover by shadow, and they couldnt keep ghost midas there obviously
Peter, Peter JR and Flopsy no the flood was created by the team we saw in the real world. Shadow didn’t even know of this.
This was the first even I was able to see live, every other event I was living with my mom, but one lucky day I was able to go see my dad, and was able to get on at the right time. And my god it was spectacular, and one I will never forget. Chapter 2, Season 2 will go down as my favourite season of this game, ever 😊

The fact that we are about 2 and a half months out from experiencing this again due to the leaks of the device’s return and OG2 made me come back and remember the good times. Can’t believe we called this the downfall of fortnite.

To be honest I think the whole reason we have marvel heros in fortnite is because of this event! Think about it, the reason super hero’s are on the map is because of the rifts and the reason the rifts are there is because we had to help sip a and dio get back to their planet and the event probably messed up the loop at the time when suing and dio were trying to get to their planet in space!
