I love this, I truly do. But as an African teaching about Africa I just hope the distinction between the countries is expressed to the artists you meet. I really hope you emphasis how diverse Africa is and how the food and drink you share are very Senegalese. I just want to be sure that the artists that aren’t as knowledgeable definitely don’t generalize Africa like they would a country cause it just happens a lot. I know he knows Africa is a continent, im just saying generally.

I've noticed that they do tend to emphasize that these are things from Senegal and they also specify that they are Senegalese. I'm pretty sure they've made the distinction in every one of these videos so far.
@neesha901 yh they definitely do specify but there’s also a lot of comments they make such as ‘in Africa, we drink this tea when we’re chilling like watching football etc..’ - I’ve never heard of, (not to mention drank) the Ataya tea in my life until now and I’m also West African, so that’s where most of us are coming from, howeverrrr they definitely do try and in more recent vids I’ve seen them doing it a bit more. All in all it’s not super super serious (if Africa wins, we all win haha) but just something that they should keep in mind.
Well said. I’m from South Africa and I’ve seen people who know one country in Africa and will generalise the whole continent using that country so I think it’s very important to let them know how rich and diverse our countries are.
