I'll give him the benefit and say maybe he's a great bassist, but I don't hear anything on this track to demonstrate it. And that quacking wah-filter guitar basically duping the bass part makes the track unlistenable.
@@Rafa3lloMT why all the insults and put downs? If there's really something good about Pino, why not just explain what it is in terms anyone can understand even if they're not a bassist? In fact you're actually attacking him, implying that he somehow cannot be appreciated except by the few that play bass. I've played bass since the 80s btw, though I'm mainly guitar and keys.
@@lqr824 even if they're not a bassist ? Who else than bassist listen to bass lol ? JK. But fr Pino Palladino is an amazing bassist, and if this cannot convince you, then maybe there's no need to try and convince you. The guy's got a killer sound, grooves for days, and is always servicing the track in every way possible. If that's not musicianship, then what is ? Try to listen to Left, Right by D'Angelo @ Stockholm. That bassline is killer and just listen to how he builds around it. Make sure you listen to the bass in context. The guy is a propa killer.
Soren Jones How is Pino’s tone awful?! It’s deep and warm, I wouldn’t pick any bass tone over this, sits right under the song and doesn’t get in the way like so many modern bassists.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! I like that !! Pino Palladino awesome bass player. Every sound is perfect

If you don't think Pino is a great bassist then you are not a bass player or don't know that much about bass playing.
