What I'd love to see from these "item every turn" mods is if the fourth item was actually always the last item you received from any regular source. E.g. you get a Warp Block from an item space, your fourth item is a Warp Block until you do something like buying a Cursed Dice Block, then it's a Cursed Dice Block until something happens, etc etc.
Basically: She wasn't playing around/sticking to the Girls Vs Boys Thematic (The Giveaway being Daisy refusing to duel her for more than 2 coins despite having none and going to be landing on a Red Space)
For the stars being more common sometimes, it's probably just because it was in the last 5 turns and that's why there were more starts than in the first half? That sounds like something Mario Party would do.
