This video helped me a few months back to fit a Roland special type build of mine. My comp didn't have the bull nose so I didn't have to drill another hole. Appreciate it. I'm gonna release a video today or tomorrow addressing safariland duty holsters and mods. Cheers!
Thanks for the walk through. I figured this would be the way to do it but it was comforting watching you do it first. I'm going to be modding a 6390 for my USPc 9mm tlr3 holster to fit GG&G mounted TLR7A.
Airsofter modification here: Using a dirt cheap replica 17/23 6354DO, I just took a file and filed the holster to accept the Glock 19 with a compensator. I had nothing to lose, it was a Chinese replica, so I chose to use a file and sandpaper to shape it out. I lack a heat gun so it was my only option. Flashlight stops the wobble anyways, it's crude, but when it's cheap I barely care about the consequences. If I had a real Safariland (which I don't because they're like 400 bucks and borderline unobtanium), I would've bought a heat gun instead.
bought the hellcat way before they came out with the RDP . I already had to go through a mission to get a TLR6 holster for it which was also open muzzle for the threaded barrel. I just ordered a compensator and I dont think it'll fit, so Im gonna have to try and widen it myself lol
Hey, so I have a shadow system Xr920 that's the length of the g19 and wirh the ramjet afterburner compensator makes it a g17 length. My issue right now is that it's getting caught on the comp, I believe. It goes in fine, but it's catching somewhere on the upper locking mechanism that I believe you were having an issue with, too catching on the top of the comp. How much material did you remove, and where exactly was it that was getting stuck?
If you look at the holster locking ribs…. As they go to the sides, they curve. Your comp is more square. Take off small amounts. You want your lock to still work but not get caught. Start with ribs closest to the comp end of the holster
Great video!! I have a question, I have mass driver compensator with glock 17 gen 5 and the problem I have is the ALS because the comp has the upper hole and it gets locked with ALS when I try to pull it, any tips?
I used a drimel on the als. If not care this will cause a less secure lockup. In hindsight, I should have welded a small piece of welding rod across the hole so that the als would side over it.
@@JARG sweet I’ve seen some people using like g17 or g34 holsters. And didn’t know if you had to start with that. Thank you really like your content man
@@JARG I paused it around 20 seconds and I think I read “6354DO-832” which is a G17/22 holster. I have a similar setup but with a G19 holster (DO-2832) and I can’t get the ALS to lock with the TLR-1H. Before you installed the comp did you have to modify the holster for the TLR to fit? I’m hoping it’s an 832 holster and no modification was needed???
Thats not a G19 holster. It is for a G17/G22 with Surefire X300 (TLR fits too). You can see the model number engraved on the holster at the 20sec mark.
No need to get all pissy, my guy… We appreciate the video. The point is that you were putting out bad info. People were asking you the question in regards to THIS video, THIS holster. Just trying to put the correct info out there, thats all.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

Good idea. Thank you for sharing.

Without the comp did you have to modify holster at all to fit the Holosun 507c ?
No
Do you know if the DO will work with a Glock 19 with an inforce wild 2 weapon light attached?
Not sure but the Safariland site has a holster builder to check
Hey brother, I ditched my timney trigger for a glock performance trigger and I absolutely love it man.
I run the Johnny Glocks Money!
Was that a 6354 for a Glock 19 or was that a 6354 for a Glock 34 ?
Sorry for late response. G19
Is that a 19 holster?
Yes

And your point is…
I have done this for a 19 holster, 17 holster, and a 34 holster.
I have many Glock and done this on all. So what is your point again
