    I was already on a high after that win against Palace and the much-needed Jesus hat-trick.
    So when my favourite podcast dropped, I was looking forward to being entertained and hearing the views and perspectives that each of you brings on the game.
    But, BUT! The chemistry between you all today was on a different level.
    The jokes, the banter, were different gravy today.
    Those hidden gems of never-heard-before, new English words from Lee, the super dry wit from James, the beard scratching, juxtaposed contrast opinions from Jordan and finally, the innuendos that Turkish finds in every statement had me laughing out loud and brought tears of joy to my eyes.
    Lads, NEVER, EVER change!

    I've been saying since last season, Jesus and Martinelli are top players and a lot of their bad form is largely based off the fact that we NEVER play the ball through the lines quickly. When you've got players like that, get the ball to them quickly and let them attack properly. It's so obvious and anyone who purely blames certain players is trying to take all blame away from management and the tactics.

      The only reason he'd be laughing is if he started supporting us a year ago. 2 seasons ago we were playing the best football I'd seen from an Arsenal side in a decade and our left side with Zinny, Xhaka, Martinelli and Jesus floating to that side was the most potent side

    • @Slim2Flo
      @Slim2Flo 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The way we play, players like Mahrez and Jack Grealish would flourish, martinelli and jesus are players who like to use their pace more, whereas the two i mentioned are great at keeping the ball, dribbling and finding a pass. Not things i attribute to jesus or martinelli. If arteta insists on a certain style of play we need to stop asking a bird to swim and a fish to climb a hill, and get players that actually fit what he wants.

Fans at the game was fuming with the first half and it was embarrassing to watch, we need to be mindful with our words (James) like was “brilliant” or “very good” because you’re over inflating their performances with the words you use. Jorginho was ok, brilliant is a massive stretch. Second half was more like the Arsenal, first half was shocking we were second best with every header, no second balls and if palace had more quality it could have been a different game.

    Lee made a valid point: the team needs to stretch the opposition when facing a low block. Instead of just playing in front of the defenders, players need to be prepared to run off the ball or take on opponents by dribbling past them. Defenders hate being forced to turn and chase back toward their own goal, making this approach more effective.

    James, Turkish's shout for a grey door is sound. The brown stands out too much and doesn't go with the aesthetics. The wide wall on your left, put some mood lighting in, those Philips hue ones, will look great 👍🏽

    Partey at RB did hamper Sterling's chances in the first half, but missing that Tierney chance was criminal.

    Our left side needs to be horses for courses IMO, if you have Trossard in he's better coming inside the pitch and allowing Tierney space to overlap where as if Martinelli plays I think you need an inverting left back to try and allow Martinelli more space in a wide area

    Looking “Ungery” today Jordan well done. 👏🏻 but seriously, first half was so slow and looked out of ideas. Second half there was intensity and they were up for it. Very good but disappointing to concede still. James, would you like to see Nwaneri in the right 10/8 and Odegaard the left 8 and have rice/partey in the 6 for a game? Would love Arteta to go for it more with more attacking options. Much love great pod ❤
