This is something I’ve been hoping to see! I was born into a horse farm in Kentucky. This looks like heaven. I truly think it should be a criminal offense. The cruelty they experience even before they are loaded for slaughter is horrific. Thank all of you for your selfless work to save these deserving horses.
Oregon Horse Rescue....you are the best people I've seen running what's like a horse hospice. Taking compassionate and loving care of those that are near the end, and giving the older ones a safe and beautiful place to live out their lives...with happiness, love and caring....letting them be horses. I love horses, always have and when I make out my will, you and dogs and cats....whatever I will have, will get what is left. I don't have children ie family....I love animals and pray to God it will help, but unless there is some miracle, there won't be enough to keep you going for long. I hope there are others who will help. Together we can help more and keep your wonderful dream going longer. I wrote your name down and will be making my arrangements soon.!🐎🐎🐶🐮🐈

All the horses we have or had in the last 15 or so years have been rescued or are the offspring of horses we rescued while pregnant. I think if you have the space and time needed to give animals a decent quality of life you should always try to rescue first before looking to buy as there are so many animals in need of a good compassionate home (not just horses I try to do the same for all my animals). I can't think of anything more rewarding than rescuing two pregnant mares and letting them live out the remainder of their lives, comfortably and without being separated from their last foals. God bless you for the work you do! I have to stop watching because I have seen this suffering too often. I know people have to be educated though and admire you for what you are doing.
I know what it’s like because I work for a horse rescue centre in the 🇬🇧 rehab and I love 💖 lt. I would never give it up I love horses and so dose my new wife but she’s a acutect
