I just wanted to say how informative & helpful your videos have been. If it weren't for you I would never have given Carnival Radiance a chance. I am in a wheelchair and we had a bad experience on an older ship out of San Francisco, so I had ruled Long Beach out entirely. After discovering your videos we are traveling in a few weeks for our daughter's birthday. I hope Carnival shows you proper appreciation. You've inspired me to start making content about traveling with mobility issues.
Your videos are very informative and helpful. Going on my first cruise in June. Out of Long Beach to Catalina Island and Ensenada. Can you give me an idea of how much walking there is from where the taxi would drop you off at the long beach terminal to board the ship? Also how much walking there is from port/dock/island. I am trying to determine if I need to bring my motorized wheelchair or not. Long story short I have some mobility issues but am able to walk short walks but start to have issues if longer.
Glad you find the videos helpful. There is quite a bit of walking to get from the taxi drop off all the way to the ship. I would definitely recommend renting a scooter. You will need it on the ship as well, as there is a lot of walking involved on the ship for those 4 days as well. Lastly, the ports also involve walking, so you will want to consider using the motorized wheelchair in port also.
Hey Hani!! Great to see you on here again!! Great video as usual! The reason the parking was so vacant is the Panorama was up north in dry dock, so there were no Panorama cars parked there! Hope to see you aboard soon some day!!
Went on The Radiance last May. Had a really good time. The only thing that was a disappointment food related was the buffet. All other food venues met, or exceeded expectations. They do a great job overall on this sailing I’d say.
Inside the cabin, but, you can only drop off your bags if you are a Priority guest (which is Diamond, Platinum, Suite or Faster to the Fun). If you are are not a priority guest, you have to wait until the cabins are available at 130 PM.

They don't have lunch inside the cruise terminal, but as soon as you get on the ship, there will be plenty of free lunch options available
do we need a passport ? can we just use a California drivers license
You don’t need a passport, but you will need your California license AND your birth certificate
